Just minutes after the rollout began, social media sites filled up with complaints from pissed off iPhone users who, after trying to download iOS 10 over WiFi, found that their iDevice had been rendered useless.

Following up a Donald Trump assassination joke on Saturday, liberal talk show host Bill Maher said Monday that he would rather vote for a “dead” Hillary Clinton over her Republican challenger Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. In a tweet Monday afternoon, the host of HBO’s Real Time dismissed concerns about Clinton’s newly diagnosed pneumonia, arguing that he’d prefer a deathly ill Clinton to what he called the “tangerine nightmare” of Trump. “Pneumonia? I’d vote for Dead Hillary in this race,” Maher tweeted. “She could be Patient Zero for Bubonic Plague, still better than #TangerineNightmare.” Maher has increasingly taken...

Filmmaker, actor and outspoken Donald Trump detractor Rob Reiner says it is impossible to level with the Republican presidential nominee’s bigoted supporters, who are “mostly white males who don’t have college degrees.” In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said that there’s “a very serious strain of racism” that runs through those supporting the Republican presidential nominee. “And that’s a kind of disturbing thing, and I don’t think you ever reach those people. I think that they’re impossible to turn around. It’s very disturbing because a lot of these racist ideas have kind of been dormant for a...

Director Oliver Stone opened up about his forthcoming Edward Snowden biopic Snowden in a recent interview, and called most Hollywood war movies “bullsh*t” — thanks to the CIA. “What you’re seeing is bullsh*t. And a lot of the war pictures you see, you don’t get, you know, you get it after the Pentagon has sanitized it. And they lie. They lie. As long as it is pro-American, that’s all that matters,” the three-time Oscar-winner said during an August 26 interview at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. Stone says “the Pentagon has taken over. CIA has taken over...

In an appearance on BBC’s “Newsnight” that aired Tuesday, comedienne Amy Schumer vowed to move to Spain if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wins the presidential election. Schumer questioned critics of Trump’s opponent Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, calling the people that “aren’t informed.” “That’s what I’m saying with the not being informed because those people aren’t informed,” Schumer said. “You know, if you go, ‘Why don’t you like Hillary?’ they’ll go, ‘She lied about her emails. What else is she going to lie about?’ People get one fact and that’s what they latch on to about a candidate. They’ll...

An Indiana man who was targeted for the Donald Trump poster he had erected in his front yard decided to take a stand against any future thieves who didn't share his political inclinations - by booby trapping the sign. The Indianapolis man, who wanted to only be identified as Phillip, said passers-by had twice tried to steal the sign in the last month, and so he took matters into his own hands. He jerry-rigged the sign with fishing wire that had been painted green and put up a video camera on a nearby tree, ready to catch the next thief....

Why not? Laureate Education paid Bill Clinton over $16 million between 2010-2014 to be an “honorary chancellor,” Jonathan Turley reminds us, even while the alleged diploma mill got repeatedly sued for fraud. Laureate Education even has a twist that Trump University does not — $55 million in State Department grants to another group run by Laureate’s founder during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State, and while Bill got millions to be its front man. So why isn’t the media pursuing both stories, Turley wonders? Laureate Education has been sued over such programs as its Walden University Online offering, which...

A white silhouette of an exotic dancer straddling a stripper pole distracted drivers on Route 101 eastbound Sunday after the image appeared on a highway sign that’s supposed to display nearby attractions. It’s not clear when the image was placed on the blue sign just before Exit 5, but State Police reported it to the state Department of Transportation early Sunday evening, according to DOT spokesman Bill Boynton. Boynton described the image as a three-foot tall sticker or decal. He said it wasn’t authorized and that he had no idea how it got there. The sign is used to advertise...
