An Indiana man who was targeted for the Donald Trump poster he had erected in his front yard decided to take a stand against any future thieves who didn't share his political inclinations - by booby trapping the sign.
The Indianapolis man, who wanted to only be identified as Phillip, said passers-by had twice tried to steal the sign in the last month, and so he took matters into his own hands.
He jerry-rigged the sign with fishing wire that had been painted green and put up a video camera on a nearby tree, ready to catch the next thief. Or at least their attempt.

I thought there was a federal criminal statute on political sign stealing. Perhaps not.

My sign is up and it has surprises for any trespasser and thief. One of the surprises will be me with a 9 iron on my property defending my property ( and they better hope that it all) . The other will be a nice video .

Trust me, it happens. I’ve taken more than a few tumbles where the top half of my body went one way and my legs went the other - in a distinctly pronounced fashion!
The perp looks like Lena Dunam.
No need to booby trap. Just set up a hunting/ trail cam with flashless night vision and she the perp steals your sigh, have them arrested and send a copy of the video to the local tv news and news paper.
But it doesn't look like it's actually a "man trap," which is the only thing that would be illegal. It's just that the signs were tethered to the ground with invisible fishing line. The woman went flying just because she kept pulling and the signs refused to come with her.
A trip wire for a Claymore would have been better....LOL, but I’ll settle for a camera and a good laugh.

I’ve never ever heard of a Hillary or Sanders sign being stolen, but you sure hear a lot about Trump or other republican signs being stolen or vandalized.
The leftists are criminals from the ground up.
Interesting that it was on the Houston news tonight. Apparently police said he could protect his property unless someone was seriously injured. Would suspect that no one else will try so he accomplished his task.
