Today, I posted my 10,000th thread on Freerepublic. I thought some reflection was appropriate. When I found Freerepublic in 1998, it was as though I had found a gold mine of truth in a desert of lies and spiked news stories. Why don't my posts appear right away all of a sudden? Is this something new?

I know my fellow FReepers are as thrilled as I am with the return of America's true voice, guardian of our nation, Free Republic. Well it is Thanksgiving week. We just finished a disappointing election, Israel is in trouble. The United States is figuring out how to economically survive and I have not had one of these fun vanities in a long time. We used to do them pretty frequently back in the day. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a great time participating in this vanity like we used to do in the past!!!!!

Not being able to read and share thoughts during the three presidential debates was painful for me as a longtime FReeper. I really counted on being here with you all, and I did waste an hour for the first two debates attempting to connect. It was frustrating and sad. We were not getting clear responses from Jim either on what was going on. Perhaps no one knew.
