Police are conducting an extensive search at a recycling plant in the city’s north end after the discovery of possible human remains. Emergency crews were called to the scene at Canada Fibers Ltd. in the Highway 400 and Sheppard Avenue area around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. A worker claimed he’d discovered what looked to be a decomposed human hand inside one of the industrial recycling bins.
