I was targeted by the IRS in a coordinated attack at the highest levels of government...and we now have the proof. My IRS files, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Judicial Watch, clearly implicate the IRS and a Democratic U.S. senator. "An IRS audit that required researching my political views clearly wasn’t a “normal random audit.” I was targeted for my political views. My civil rights were clearly violated." Per Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch: “The Obama IRS obstructed the release of Wayne Root’s tax documents. The abuse of process Judicial Watch and Wayne suffered through to...

“If you haven’t heard about Operation Jade Helm 15, you need to,” says noted actor, martial artist and Internet meme Chuck Norris. It’s a training exercise planned for this summer involving four branches of the military and seven southwest states. According to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, the operation is routine (though extensive) and will have little to no impact on civilians. But Norris, and a handful of of other conspiracy-minded critics of President Barack Obama, don’t buy it. And Norris doesn’t think you should either.“The U.S. government says, ‘It’s just a training exercise.’ But I’m not sure the term ‘just’...

The chairman of the House Armed Services committee called concerns about a special forces training exercise in Texas “silly” on Monday, dismissing conspiracy theories of impending martial law His comments come a week after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the State Guard to monitor the exercise, a move widely criticized by Democrats and some Republicans. “These are incredibly capable, patriotic Americans and the notion that they’re going to be some sort of private army for the president to take away all our guns is just silly,” said Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Clarendon.

If all it took to get my vote was being a 73-year-old dude who’s grooving out to the folk songs he used to shout-sing in a Vermont jam band, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) would have my vote. If you click on the audio button on the lower right (see video on this page), you can hear him shush the reporter who is playing his old music and say “Shhh. I’m getting in the groove here!” What’s not to love, really? If you didn’t know he was a sitting U.S. Senator, there is no way you’d put that on a list...

Writing for National Review, Ion Mihai Pacepa explains that, "Liberation theology, of which not much has been heard for two decades, is back in the news. But what is not being mentioned is its origins. It was not invented by Latin American Catholics. It was developed by the KGB. The man who is now the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, secretly worked for the KGB under the code name “Mikhailov” and spent four decades promoting liberation theology, which we at the top of the Eastern European intelligence community nicknamed Christianized Marxism." As a gift to American society on Thursday, John Podhoretz altruistically delved into the vast recesses of his memory and revisited a dark period in American history. It was a time when spurious McCarthyism inexplicably managed to exculpate the Clintons whenever they found themselves in trouble. “The ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ is back,” Podhoretz wrote. He wasn’t kidding. On Thursday, The New York Times gave Hillary Clinton a serious headache when they published a report alleging the appearance of favoritism given to Russian uranium interests following a well-timed donation to The Clinton Foundation. Even before bombshell allegations resulting from investigations...

Here is an Interesting Top Ten List. Did you know of these Secret Societies that existed throughout our history? Ever since recorded time, secret societies have fascinated and frightened us. Since mystery is encoded into their DNA, secret societies are easy fodder for conspiracy theorists or lazy students who seek simple explanations for history’s many catastrophes. These secret societies, however, did indeed influence the world around them, and the reverberations of their teachings and actions are with us to this very day. 10. Officer accused of Tasering unarmed man in 2013 but police report said he was 'exonerated'..."He said he wanted to come in, but didn't say why," said Givens, now 33. "He never said who he was looking for." Then, without warning, Slager pushed in the door, he said. "'Come outside or I'll Tase you,"' he recalled the officer saying as he burst in. "I didn't want that to happen to me, so I raised my arms over my head, and when I did, he tased me in my stomach anyway." Though initially accused of resisting the officers, Givens was later released...

In his State-of-the-Union address, president Obama again confirmed that “saving the climate” remains one of his top priorities. Yet an official December 2014 confab in Lima, Peru didn't really conclude anything -- certainly no binding Protocol to limit emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) -- but it "kicked the can down the road" to the next international gabfest in Paris, scheduled for 2015.

"I received this via email from Court Administration late this afternoon," said Wilson in a Facebook post on Tuesday regarding the order."While I was unaware this was in the works, it is not without precedent for the Chief Justice to assign judges to cases, sua sponte." Since October 2014, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has regularly referred to the concept of a "Mastermind" (ust akil, "supra-intellect," in Turkish) that, he says, is plotting against Turkey. This concept has been applauded by the Islamist pro-AKP media. Erdogan's December 12, 2014 speech, which focused on this "mastermind" concept, inspired the production of a two-hour "documentary" by one of the leading Turkish television channels, the pro-AKP A Haber. The film, titled "The Mastermind," first aired on March 15, 2015 and has been broadcast repeatedly since then; in addition, the Turkish Islamist pro-AKP media are circulating the film on their...

BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) - Applications for state jobs in Virginia will no longer will include questions regarding a person's criminal history. Governor Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order removing criminal history questions from state employment applications Friday. Under the order, employment decisions won't be based on an applicant's criminal history unless it's specifically related to the job they are being considered for. While it only applies to state employment applications, the order also encourages similar hiring practices for private employers throughout the Commonwealth. Some business owners we spoke to in Bristol, Virginia are not on board with the idea.

Six leaders of the Ferguson protests held a press conference Thursday afternoon by telephone to discuss the shooting that wounded two police officers there early that morning. The conference began with the leaders denouncing the shootings, with several stressing that their movements are based on nonviolent principles. Later, however, one participant said people often “respond in kind” to police violence; and another — a member of the Ferguson Commission — called the shootings “suspicious.” ---snip--- Rapper Tef Poe, noting that he “didn’t even want to be on this call,” said, “We grieve for the victims of all forms of violence.”...
