I caught a bit of Beck's radio program yesterday and he said that his daughter attended a Ted Cruz event in Dallas recently and reported to Glenn that she was very impressed and Glenn said that although Cruz is currently ranked 5th he believes that after his strong defense of Israel in DC before the Middle Eastern Hezbollah-supporting "Christians" Beck said he believes Cruz is "the real deal" and should be the No. 1 GOP candidate. Beck emphasized Cruz's ability to articulate conservative principles as proved in his record in arguing cases before the Supreme Court.
