The subtitle "an American Life" describes the book perfectly. As I read the book I kept noticing similarities to people I have known. Sometimes I was reminded of Grandma Smith, from rural Tennessee. Sometimes Sarah sounded like my sister. A couple times I was reminded of Prime Minister Thatcher. I believe most of Sarah's fans see important people in their lives reflected in this wonderful story. After we rescued a beautiful black haired dog from our local animal shelter, we were were told it was "half Labrador Retriever and half "Golden Retriever". I happened to be watching a dog show video on Hulu.com and lo and behold, there was our dog. They called it a " Black Flat Coat Retriever". Originally I just saw a "thread pulled" message, but now it has: "Site has links to trutherism, don’t post it here again" So now content is banned because the site *links* to objectionable content? I'd suggest that's true of most major news outlets for one thing. "Free"republic should support "free speech", it's one of the cornerstones and strengths of our system. Censorship is the antithesis of the American system.

Less than 24 hours ago, I lay prostrate on an operating table while surgeons aided by a robot(da Vinci) made six deep cuts in my belly area and carved out my oversized cancerous prostate. The robot allegedly made such precise cuts that important nerves and muscles were protected from damage so my functionality would be maintained. Makes one wonder if you can rent it for carving turkey— Hmmmm.

When I bought my property a few years ago, this oil drum from Standard Oil was at the back of the property. I'll like to find out if it is authentic, and if so, how much it might be worth.
