At least nine people were injured at a mass shooting on a boardwalk at a Florida beach on Memorial Day. Video from a live camera showed bystanders enjoying their holiday at Hollywood Beach before gunfire erupted and they were forced to flee for their lives. Hollywood Police Department spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi told reporters that police believed the shooting was the result of an altercation between two groups at the boardwalk. Atlantic City Boardwalk (1965). Just over a year since The Beatles swept America. Hot dogs were still 10 cents (or 15 cents for the foot-longs). Of course there was skee-ball with the attendant cheap prizes. Most women in dresses (and some in high heels). I was still two years old that summer so one of the children being pushed in a stroller might have been me. Check out the Blue rolling chairs.

A San Jose man who wanted to spend the day with his son at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Father’s Day claims he was instead kicked out of the popular amusement park because of his arm tattoos. Meanwhile, a boardwalk spokesperson denied Mark Devera was ever kicked off the property. “‘Excuse me, but you’re not allowed on the premises,’ basically, that’s what he said,” said Devera. “He goes, ‘Well, it’s against our policy.’ That it’s gang-related. I said, ‘Gang-related?'” Devera shared his tattoos on social media that show “Pinoy” on one arm and “Pride” on the other. Two words,...

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced new measures Sunday to help fight the spread of the coronavirus in L.A., as well as speed up testing for high-risk residents. While many Californians have been adhering to stay at home orders and social distancing guidelines, like keeping six feet distance from other people, far too many are not, the mayor said. "This weekend we saw too many images of too many people crowding beaches or canyons beyond their capacity. Too many people, too close together, too often," Garcetti said. "The longer we do that, the more people will get sick, and the...

Does Islamic company selling 'Sharia~compliant mortgages' control Asbury Park NJ boardwalk? With ISIS committing acts of terror on 4 continents, and President Obama importing refugees from their home territory, now is a bad time to offer interest-free Sharia Law mortgages in America, but that’s exactly what one company is doing. The beach town of Asbury Park, New Jersey has undergone a slow-grinding redevelopment for the better part of 30 years. Bereft of money in 2007, the city sold millions of dollars worth of storied boardwalk buildings including Convention Hall to a private company -- Madison Marquette. Madison Marquette also owns...

Nathan Louis Campbell is the crazed man who plowed through crowds of people, killing a bride on her honeymoon in Santa Monica. He subsequently turned himself into police. Why hasn't the media showed Campbell's mug shot? There are a few Nathan Campbells out there, but probably not many Nathan Louis Campbells.

Hindsight will soon be punishable by a $25 fine in this Jersey Shore resort. Wildwood passed a law Wednesday night banning overly saggy pants on the boardwalk, prompted by numerous complaints from longtime visitors about having to see people’s rear ends hanging out in public. Subsequent violations of the law, which could take effect as early as July 2, could result in fines as high as $200, and 40 hours of community service. … Wildwood is a resort town near the southernmost tip of New Jersey. Love was in the air as NJ Governor Chris Christie won his new object of obsession, President Obama, a teddy bear while the lovebirds strolled along the boardwalk in NJ. With his administration mired in scandal, Obama is trying to play his greatest hits – revisiting all the places where he got a bump in the polls. But the media seems to be missing one of the biggest stories from the day, and only Glenn had it. Mayor Bloomberg made an impromptu visit to the Rockaways this week—although he was predominantly there to discuss Sandy recovery efforts with local paper The Wave (and declare that the age of the wooden boardwalk is so over), Bloomberg also was confronted by some Occupy Sandy members. And for once, he had nothing but praise for them: "Thank you for everything you've done. You guys are great," Bloomberg told them, as you can see in the video below. "We really do appreciate it, all kidding aside. You really are making a difference. Goodbye," he said. (VIDEO AT LINK) Bloomberg probably would...
