I have spent my life as a Democrat which probably isn’t that surprising considering that I am African-American. One of the things that always attracted me to the party were the ideals of equality, fighting for the little guy and our openness to differing opinions, but lately I have seen my party take a turn that makes me uncomfortable. Somewhere along the way we stopped fighting for the little guy and became the party of the smug, educated elites who look down on those with less education and deem them unable or unworthy of being able to make personal decisions...

Growing up, Jimmie Williams’ family and friends supported the Democrat Party. So naturally, he decided he too was a Democrat. But the older he got, the more he questioned the political path that seemed predetermined for him. He suppressed his doubts, telling The College Fix in an email interview dissenters are branded traitors to the black community. In private, however, his concerns grew — even as he took on leadership roles within the University of Memphis College Democrats and the College Democrats of Tennessee. Then, in 2014, Williams attended a meeting of the College Republicans at the University of Memphis...

You would be hard pressed to find a more biased anchor on cable news than CNN’s Carol Costello and her liberal leanings could not have been more obvious than in an interview with a pastor of a predominantly black North Carolina church that’s endorsing Donald Trump. Using words scraped from social media, Costello, in effect, likened the black church leader to Judas for holding an event to endorse the GOP nominee. The CNN anchor told Antioch Road to Glory International Ministries Pastor Thomas Rodgers that “some African-Americans are upset that you’re having this event in support of Mr. Trump. She then read...

L’audace, encore l’audace et toujours l’audace~ Georges Danton “If you’re going to take liberties and break the law with other people’s money, there are going to be consequences.” That, U.S. federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald told reporters yesterday, was the message of the verdict in the Conrad Black trial. Those twenty words of Fitzgerald’s are a lie. His words stand as yet another manifestation of the mania and manipulation with which the prosecution prejudiced the judicial wells in this persecution. We got an earlier taste of it when the jury came back hung – a clear statement that the government had...

I have come to realize something that is still hard for me to understand to this day. The following may be a shock to some coming from an African American, but the mere fact that it may be shocking to some is prima facie evidence of the sad state of affairs that we are in as Humans. I used to be so torn inside growing up. Here I am, a young African-American born and raised in Brooklyn, NY wanting to be a cop. I watched and lived through the crime that took place in the hood. My own black people...
