I have been staying in the Dallas, Texas, metro area for 10 days now.  I have seen very few 30.06 signs or 30.07 signs. They are good sized signs and take up a considerable amount of space, so they are hard to miss, which is part of the legislative intent. During the LA riots, the LAPD completely abandoned Koreatown in Central LA. Instead the police formed defense line guarding Beverly Hills. In Tennessee, SB 1736(pdf)  has passed the House and the Senate. It is a bill that grants immunity for toleration of Second Amendment rights.It has been enrolled and sent to Governor Bill Haslam.  Governor Haslam promised to sign “Constitutional” carry if it reached his desk, six years ago.  It seems likely that he will sign this bill. Deputies are investigating after an intruder was fatally shot in a home near Thursday night Monroe. Authorities responded after an 80-year-old woman called 911 to report she had shot an intruder in the 13700 block of Woods Lake Road before 9 p.m. Police said the intruder broke into the home and stabbed a 75-year-old man. The man’s wife then shot the intruder. According to police, the intruder died at the scene. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is in stable condition. The woman was not injured. WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A Wilmington couple is facing criminal charges after a woman showed a gun at a local restaurant over a wrong order of chicken wings. Clarissa Gagum, 24, and her husband, Rasheem Gagum, 24, were both arrested Thursday after Clarissa became upset that her order of chicken wings was wrong and pulled out a gun inside the restaurant. Some Dallas police officers will soon be toting “sponge guns,” weapons aimed at reducing the chances of a deadly officer-involved shooting.
