So up to this point, we have an individual who had practically no social media presence or public footprint, no voting record, traveled heavily, had numerous homes which were paid for in cash, a foreigner for a girlfriend, wired $100,000 offshore to the Phillipines, was reclusive and never at home, had an abundance of money, an extremely large cache of weapons for someone who was not a “gun” guy, had worked for numerous government “contractors” most of which are in the defense and aerospace industry including Lockheed Martin, and recent revelations that there are strange inconsistencies with a previously owned...

The monument in the heart of Moscow was supposed to be a tribute to Mikhail Kalashnikov, the creator of the AK-47 assault rifle. Unfortunately, things went wrong, spectacularly so. The etching on the plinth was not of a Kalashnikov but the StG 44 rifle used by the Nazis during WWII. The mistake was spotted by arms experts, the BBC reported. It left the authorities having to use an angle grinder to remove the offending image.

SA is only 30 miles from another progun state, they could move out like Beretta did, but talk is cheaper. I will not buy RAA and SA products. Fulton Armory and Beretta or Glock are good alternatives.Note that SA in the past has participated in handing weapons to bad characters in South America. They give a bad name to guns,...

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - If you're a concealed weapon permit holder, your information could be in danger after a statewide hack. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says the data breach affects more than 16,000 people and some social security numbers may be at risk. "It's a little nerve-racking to know that it happened here in Florida," said Evelyn Greenway. Officials say people with concealed weapons licenses who renewed online may have had their names accessed. An additional 469 others have been notified their social security numbers may have been hacked. "Somebody knows this house has weapons in...

... The court added, “Assuming without deciding the tip from the taxicab driver was reliable, the threshold question is whether the mere allegation that Pinner possessed a handgun—without more—is sufficient to establish that Pinner ‘[wa]s, or [wa]s about to be, engaged in criminal activity.'” The court then ruled that the mere possession of a handgun was not sufficient to establish that Pinner was “engaged in criminal activity.” ...

The U.S. Army soon will begin searching for a 7.62mm rifle to become its formal squad designated marksman rifle for combat platoons and squads. A recent directed requirement from Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Daniel Allyn prompted Army weapons officials to write a new requirement, and most likely they will conduct a competition that will result in the service equipping each combat arms squad with a new 7.62mm squad designated marksman rifle, Matt Walker, deputy for the Lethality Branch at the Maneuver Center for Excellence at Fort Benning, Georgia, told Military.com. Equipping units with SDM rifles so they can shoot...

...[snip] The legislature's judiciary committee passed a bill this week that would make Connecticut the first state in the nation to allow the use of weaponized drones by law enforcement. North Dakota legalized police use of armed drones in 2015, but the law limits those weapons to less lethal technologies, such as rubber bullets and tear gas. The Connecticut measure contains no such restrictions.

Kalashnikov assault rifles are among the most iconic symbols of the Soviet military. Weapons such as the AK-47, the AKM, the AK-74 and the AK-103 are ubiquitous reminders of the Red Army’s legacy among the modern militaries of former Warsaw Pact countries and Soviet client states. Also, the contemporary use of Kalashnikovs by worldwide terrorists and insurgent groups offers grim evidence of the widespread proliferation of Soviet weapons during and after the Cold War. On January 3, as part of a long-term plan to adopt NATO military standards, Ukraine took a step toward ditching this Soviet military carryover.

In this election nothing would cease to amaze me. We have the state of Utah, a completely red state, polling closer than ever between the two parties. And now we have a state as blue as the come, Pennsylvania, with a new emergence of red votes. The state is as solid blue a s they come, but Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, has done quite a lot to offend the state. Starting with her declaration to put coal miners out of business. I get what she was saying. She wants to move to alternative energy sources. I get it. BUT...
