OKLAHOMA CITY - A mother and daughter were shot Thursday night at a popular restaurant on Lake Hefner in northwest Oklahoma City, police said. The shooting occurred at Louie’s Grill & Bar at 9401 Lake Hefner Parkway around 6:30 p.m. According to Captain Bo Mathews with the Oklahoma City Police Department, the suspect described as an 18 to 20-year-old white male entered the restaurant and opened fire.A mother and daughter celebrating a birthday were the shooting victims. A man “opened fire” Thursday in an Oklahoma restaurant and injured at least two people before he was fatally shot by a bystander, police said. The gunfire unfolded at about 6:30 p.m. local time inside Louie's on the Lake in Oklahoma City, Fox 25 News reported. The unidentified shooter entered the restaurant and fired his gun, hitting at least two people, Oklahoma City Police tweeted. Richard Remme, 51, of Fort Dodge, told police he was playing with his dog, Balew, on the couch and tossed the dog off his lap. Florida’s Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) says a concealed carrier was able to pull his gun and fatally shoot an assailant while being robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
