A Wisconsin man, using a gun licensed under a concealed-carry permit, shot and killed an alleged carjacker in his companys parking lot, a city official said.
The unidentified employee, 24, had just arrived for work at Milwaukee Machine Tool Corp., shortly before 6 a.m. Monday when a man named Carlos Martin, 21, allegedly attempted to carjack him with a gun, Milwaukee city alderman Cavalier Johnson told ABC News.
Police have provided few details.
The Machine Tool worker had a concealed-carry permit, Johnson said, and used his legal weapon to shoot Martin, who died from his injuries.

Well, he should have reasoned with him. /s
Looks like he got deported the hard way.
He’d probably be dead if he lived in Chicago.
His weapon was “licensed” under the Constitution. No additional permission slip issued after payment of a bribe required.
Hard to believe this is being reported in the news.
I hope I’m never faced with that situation because I surely don’t want to take another’s life. But some people in this world are hellbent on forcing law-abiding citizens into removing the “don’t” portion of the equation.
...using a gun licensed under a concealed-carry permit...
I do not live in Wisconsin, so will someone who knows their gun laws tell me whether the writer uses the correct terminology, here? Does Wisconsin require guns to be registered? And if so, is a concealed carry permit tied to a specific weapon?
I did learn enough about myself that day to know that I would have fired the weapon if the guy had made it necessary. I have tendency towards nervousness during stressful confrontations, but my hands did not so much as quiver when I pointed the revolver at the guy. With that said, though, I absolutely was not looking forward to having to shoot and possibly kill a other human being.
NO to both of the above.
Bravo.

Well, that certainly IS Yahoo news if ever there was!
Instead of killing him couldn’t he have just shot the gun out of his hand?
During the Obama “GUN RUSH” I decided to make a purchase. I obtained my “Carry permit” and soon I was handed my very own Ruger 9mm LC9. I’d always enjoyed target shooting but never desired to actually own my own firearm. Now it was different.
I never really understood, but the moment that firearm sat in my cupped hands I quietly turned my back and...
I silently prayed that this thing would NEVER, EVER be actually NEEDED by me. I wanted to merely enjoy the challenge of gaining accuracy. Happily, so very happily, I can say that silent prayer has been answered.
The truth is you do not “need” a gun until the moment you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need that gun.
Obvious misprint there...

True. I live in Wisconsin and have a concealed carry permit. No gun has to be licensed under our concealed carry law. You go out, but whatever gun you want to carry and thats it. No license is needed for the gun
