Conservative Republican for more than 30 years. But, the meaning of "being a Republican" has changed so much under President Bush that now, I call myself just a conservative.
For the record, I believe:
That our rights are inalienable and they come from our Creator.
That we have a right to keep and carry personal weapons.
That we can read and believe what we please.
That life itself is sacred and precious.
That parents are responsible for their children.
That you have a duty to vote and to defend your country when called.
That the family is the basic unit of society.
That marriage can be between only a man and a woman.
That religious beliefs should be kept private and respected by others.
That the Boy Scouts have done more good for America than the ACLU.
