This is what some people call a ghost gun. It's an air 15 semiautomatic rifle that has no serial number. It’s untraceable. I didn't have to go through a background check or any sort of waiting period to get it. The government has no knowledge of its existence in fact and that’s because legally speaking I didn’t buy this gun. I made it. Anyone can buy every part of an F-15 on the Internet. There’s one part though that you can’t buy without a background check. And that is a functioning lower receiver. The body of the gun which you...

AR-15 rifles are not immune to the dreaded kaboom. Like any firearm, it can fail if improperly loaded with bad ammunition, or maybe other factors. Does someone smell a squib bullet with another bullet fired into the back of it?Well, it appears all the parts are there, how come it doesn’t fire?I think, the bottom of an AR-15 rifle is not supposed to look like that. Another jaw-dropping meltdown video, this time of an entry-level AR-15 upper receiver. The guys over at IraqVeteran8888 have, hands down, one of the most entertaining YouTube channels on the Internet. With great reviews, the always laughable "We'll Shoot Your Stuff" series, and educational videos, IraqVeteran8888 has some truly fantastic content. However, the videos that never fail to please are the "Meltdown" series. The recipe? Take one gun everyone loves. Add a fully-automatic capability. Stir in a ridiculous amount of loaded magazines and drums. Shoot the bejeezus out of the gun that everyone loves until it fails, hopefully while catching fire...

Here's an aftermarket trigger that doesn’t suck and actually shows some innovation. With all the customizing of AR’s , using a shorter barrel would need to also shorten the gas system to allow it to operate correctly. Operating at this level the bolt carrier system picks up speed. Which winds up beating up the firing component. The fire control components takes a huge beating, specifically the disconnector. After four thousand rounds the pin shears and disconnecter failure occurs. This is the reason manufacturers comes out with trigger system to solve this problem and here's one to consider. KE Arms trigger...

Arizona -(Ammoland.com)- In the video below, the Weatherproof Roofing and Exteriors company is offering guns as an inducement for purchasing their products. With the final payment for a roof replacement and exterior repairs due to a hail or wind storm, you get a “free” gun.As with all promotions, the “free” gun is paid for by the customer, one way or another. It is part of the advertising cost of running the business. But people like to get something substantial in their hands, other than money. A promotion helps to facilitate transactions where the buyer wants the promotional item, but is not...

Pro-gun rally in front of Maryland State House in Annapolis on Feb. 6, 2013 protesting the state’s controversial Firearms Safety Act. (Photo: Andrew Harnik/The Washington Times) A long-simmering challenge against Maryland’s 2013 Firearms Safety Act has been appealed to the nation’s highest court. Attorneys for the Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association and the National Shooting Sports Foundation on Friday filed the 325-page petition to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Stephen Kolbe and a series of gun stores and shooting clubs asking the court to protect popular semi-automatic rifles and magazines from prohibition. At stake is the 2013...

At one time back in the day, inside most police cars were equipped with an M-870 shotgun. Then theres an odd ball patrolman with his AR-15 with .223 caliber. Which patrolman has the advantage? The logic behind the usage of an AR stems from situations where a firearm needed for greater range than a shotgun. So the debate begins, shotgun folks talk about having the knock down power to stop the fight with its 00 buck. AR’s with its high velocity and more firepower in terms of 20 rounds – 30 rounds magazine capacity. Using either firearm we can make...

James Reeves of TFB TV discusses 8 traits of the humble Ruger Mini-14 that actually best the infamous AR15. James also gives viewers a brief history of the Mini-14, including a discussion of improvements that have been made to boost the historic Mini-14's poor accuracy. Production of the Mini-14 started in 1973 by Strum and Ruger. The rifle caliber is 223 Remington and is basically a scaled down version of the M-14. Mini-14 has more of a personal feel than the AR-15. Maybe it is the wooden stock of the Mini that gives it more of a hunting rifle look...

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower,” believed the late Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple, Inc. It’s obvious that Nosler, Inc., subscribes to this philosophy as well; since 2014, the year that the 26 Nosler made its debut, the Bend, Ore., company has introduced a total of five new cartridges. Outside of the early 2000s, when Winchester and Remington were embroiled in a frenzied ballistics battle, such a flurry of activity is somewhat unusual—makers of proprietary and wildcat cartridges notwithstanding, of course. Of the new Nosler namesakes, the .22 caliber is arguably the most...

There are some myths about suppressors out there. Most of these myths comes from gun owners that don't own a suppressor or from playing the video game "Call of Duty". One of the myth is the ineffectiveness impact of the weapon. Fortunately, we have United States Marine Corps Gunner Christian Wade to set the record straight. Gunner Christian Wade is a Chief Warrant Officer 5 and is the Gunner for the 2nd Marine Division, literally making him an expert on small arms and their employment. I don't know about you, but I can't think of a better source for reliable...

No guns on Facebook? We'll see. At the very beginning of 2016, Facebook banned gun sales on its site. But it's not that hard to get around these rules. With all the school shootings and mass murders, placenames now becoming shorthand for different shootings (Aurora, Sandy Hook, Charleston, etc.) one can hardly blame Facebook for getting cautious. Like any responsible company, they want their asses and assets covered. Still, that didn't stop one Buzzfeed writer from buying an AR-15 (That oh-so-dangerous "Assault Rifle" everyone's so afraid of) via facebook not far from San Bernardino. See, while Facebook officially bans guns...

ATF Clarifies Legality of AR Pistol Arm Brace UsePosted on April 25, 2017 by Dean Weingarten Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- Late in 2012, the ATF approved of a device that fit on the buffer tube of AR-15 style pistols. It made one handed shooting of these firearms much easier, and hence more accurate. The SB15 was invented by a disabled veteran, Alex Bosco. He quickly sold the rights to produce the arm brace to Sig Sauer. As you can see, the device can also be used as a very short stock for the AR-15 pistol, even though that is not what...

The Type 91 is the standard-issue service rifle of the R.O.C. Army. Because local and U.S. laws made it difficult for Taiwan to...
