The Constitution says the impeachment process involves both chambers. If the House doesn't send them to the Senate, that transforms them into just another meaningless House resolution, like declaring National Pickle Week. At most it transforms "impeachment" into a nonbinding House "censure" of the president. So I'll be glad if they nullify their "impeachment" by keeping it to themselves and not sending it to the Senate.

Comfortably retired bloke here. I was thinking of offering some big bucks to the winner of a speech contest where the winner gives the best 5-10 minute speech on the virtues of capitalism. Time to get the young folks engaged rather than indoctrinated. If one young student has to spend a whole weekend studying and preparing for a (let's say) $500 reward it will at least get them off their dead behinds. I'd even throw in a participation trophy for the losers. Local GOP offices could sponsor the events. That would really fry the left. Just askin'.

I believe it is the duty of our electeds in congress to give the American people a full and prolonged trial in the Senate.
