For all of the liberals who are skeptical of the existence of a deep state, let me take your disingenuous argument at face value. Hypothetically, what would happen if all of the lunatics gathered in Washington D.C. right now-and I don't think many rational people would dispute that they're mentally disordered-were right wing?
They were marching around with banners and placards depicting the lynching of Senator Booker and Senator Kamala Harris. They barged into the Russell Long Office Building and started harassing and cursing out members of the Democratic Caucus. They physically assaulted Democratic congressmen like Jerrold Nadler and Maxine Waters. They walked onto the steps of the Supreme Court and threatened to break in, all as they harassed a Democrat who was being sworn in as Associate Justice.
Do you think the response by the police would be the same? Do you think they would even get that far? This is a serious question.

What if the shoe were on the other foot is becoming a tired argument and not worth debating because we all already know that the media treats the left and right differently. It was a tedious argument a long time ago because we don’t need to imagine anymore-we already know.
What if was a Democrat instead of a Republican? What if it was a Republican instead of a Democrat. What if it was Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump?
It has become a pointless argument because we’re not learning anything new from it.

Well, precisely. The meme was proposed as a demonstration of the existence of the Deep State. It is a good argument. If the right had been as destructive as Antifa or as vile as the democrat Senators under Obama what would have happened?

I think that the visitors gallery should be permanently closed and a separate viewing area be set up with closed circuit tv. The offices of the house and senate should be closed down to all but escorted people. Any disturbance should be a felony with minimum mandatory 7 day incarceration before a hearing takes place. NO bail. NO plea deals. 1000 dollar fine for each infraction that has to be paid before release. I would like to require mandatory tasering but that might be too extreme. Lets get serious and stop this crap in its’ tracks.
