Fox News is rejecting pressure from the White House to retract stories about alleged Biden family corruption in the aftermath of the FBI’s arrest of a former informant. In a letter from Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House, the regime demanded that the conservative news network take down its reporting about Alexander Smirnov’s allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a foreign bribery scheme with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings which employed his son Hunter in a highly paid position despite his lack of industry experience. Smirnov, the source identified in the FD-1023 document that has...

Yet another Democratic Party thought leader has demanded that Joe Biden drop out of the 2024 presidential race. Ezra Klein, the co-founder of Vox and now a columnist and podcast host at The New York Times, said he understood that many liberals would be angry at him for calling on Biden to go but that it was necessary. "I want to say this clearly: I like Biden. I think he’s been a good president. I think he is a good president. I don’t like having this conversation. And I know a lot of liberals, a lot of Democrats are going...

President Joe Biden has hired Democrat lawyer Bob Bauer to represent him in the ongoing special counsel investigation over classified documents found in his possession at his home and at a private office in Washington, DC. The White House confirmed to CBS News that Bauer has been hired as Biden’s personal attorney. He is not only a former White House lawyer for President Barack Obama, but also serves as Obama’s representative to the National Archives. Biden did not have to look far to find a lawyer he trusts. Bauer is married to Anita Dunn, one of his closest communications advisors.

After Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump, Brian Fallon needed a job. Fallon had served as Clinton’s national press secretary during the campaign, and before that he had done the same job for my colleague Chuck Schumer in the Senate. For a while, his reputation around Washington, DC, was stellar. He was, according to a lengthy profile in the Daily Beast, “one of the most sought-after operatives in Democratic politics: a brass-knuckle brawler with experience at the highest levels of government, a cellphone filled with the top journalists in town, and a reputation for being preternaturally on...

Anita Dunn, the senior Biden aide best known for providing "damage control" advice to disgraced Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein, is in line to take over as White House chief of staff after the midterm elections, NBC News reports. Dunn is widely considered to be a "potential successor" to Ron Klain, the current White House chief of staff who several people close to Biden told NBC News was planning to "depart at some point after the midterms." A longtime public relations guru whose firm, SKDK, has represented an array of corporate clients seeking relief from the anti-business policies Democrats routinely enact...

WASHINGTON – In moments of great peril and uncertainty, the question of who actually runs Washington – who they are, what they think, what they know, what they think they know – takes on even more importance than it might under normal circumstances. In this, the first in a three-part series, Asia Times will examine the current power dynamics that shape the Biden White House and his national security team. Needless to say, the most important players in Washington are, as one might expect, the ones closest to the President, even if, for the most part, they remain unknown by...

Former President Obama’s ethics chief warned that President Biden's White House staff going through "the revolving door from influence-peddling operations" is not good for the country. Former Office of Government Ethics director Walter Shaub unloaded on the Biden administration after it was announced that Michael Czin from the Biden-aligned consulting firm, SKDK, would be joining the White House in a "senior adviser" position. Czin is the most recent hire from SKDK, which was co-founded by Anita Dunn. Dunn recently left the Biden administration after being able to skirt publicly disclosing her personal finances and business interests, unlike other presidential appointees,...

Senior presidential adviser Anita Dunn said on Sunday that the unpredictable nature of the coronavirus pandemic makes it impossible for the Biden administration to say for certain whether or not schools could be reopened this fall. During an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union," host Jake Tapper asked Dunn for clarification on the administration's stance on school reopenings, noting that President Biden had said in an interview that schools should probably reopen by the fall. Dunn responded by pointing to the 80 percent of teachers who had received a vaccine so far. "If you recall, a couple of months...

One of President Joe Biden's top advisers has suggested that he's still wearing a face mask outdoors out of habit although the latest public health guidance says he doesn't need it --------- WILMINGTON, Del. -- One of President Joe Biden's top White House advisers suggested Sunday that he's still wearing a mask outdoors out of habit although the latest public health guidance says he doesn't need it. Questioned about Biden's practice, senior adviser Anita Dunn told CNN's “State of the Union” that she realized that she was also still wearing her mask outdoors even after the Centers for Disease Control...

Biden and the Rule of Law Biden Advisor Ranked Mao Zedong among ‘Favorite Political Philosophers’ 2021 Forecast: Four Fights to Watch Biden and the Rule of Law President Biden began his presidency with a disturbing inauguration speech that signaled his administration will target any political opponents who reject his radical agenda. This would be a continuation of Obama-era practices, which saw the Obama IRS, DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc. used to target Obama opponents ranging from small citizen Tea Party groups to then-candidate Donald Trump. Indeed, that virtually no ordinary Americans were allowed to view the proceedings in person thanks...

Joe Biden continues to get the old Obama band back together while assembling his cabinet and White House staff. (Seriously… are there no new people in the Democratic Party?) His latest addition, however, should raise some eyebrows even in his own party. Anita Dunn is having her career resurrected by Uncle Joe, signing on to be one of his senior advisors in the Oval Office. (She’s actually been working on Biden’s campaign since 2019, though primarily in the background.) If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because she served as Barack Obama’s communications director briefly at the beginning...

Former Vice President Joe Biden's presidential campaign called on news executives to stop booking Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani as a guest on news programs. Two top Biden campaign advisers in a letter addressed the leaders of news and cable networks and some anchors, saying that Giuliani's appearance on news networks is giving the lawyer and his "false, debunked conspiracy theories" undeserved credibility, The Daily Beast first reported. The letter has since been shared on social media. “While you often fact check his statements in real time during your discussions, that is no longer enough," the letter says. "By...

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign made an extraordinary request to executives of top news channels on Sunday, asking them to no longer book Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on their programs. In a letter addressed to the heads of the major news and cable networks, as well as top news anchors, two top Biden campaign advisers make the case that by peddling routine falsehoods about the work of Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine, Giuliani’s presence on the airwaves is editorially untenable. “We are writing today with grave concern that you continue to book Rudy Giuliani on your air...

Planned Parenthood has hired a high-profile crisis communication firm to help it deal with fallout from a series of undercover sting videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress. Politico reports that PP has hired SKDKnickerbocker, a firm which features former Obama communications staffer Anita Dunn as a managing director. Dunn is perhaps best known for a speech she gave extolling the political philosophy of communist revolutionary Mao Zedong. On its website, SKDKnickerbocker touts its expertise in crisis communications in Washington and on Wall Street. “By working with a company’s existing corporate communications resources or creating a separate ‘war room,’...

Much has been written about Obama’s controversial appointments, not only to the federal bench, but to key cabinet positions, as well as to the unaccountable (and probably unconstitutional) “Czar” positions. Much of the criticism has dwelled on the Obama administration’s lack of vetting when filling these rolls—but that’s not the issue. To the contrary, the Obama team did investigate thoroughly and they choose precisely. When an administration repeatedly nominates hard-left individuals, it’s not a vetting error—it’s a pattern. We should not allow the media to portray these appointments as a series of errors; but rather, we need to realize that...

Anita Dunn, a veteran Democratic operative and a former White House communications director in Barack Obama‘s administration, did not perform all that well when tasked with defending the president’s election year push for a variety of remedies to the issue equal pay for women. To the extent that this an issue at all, which Dunn failed to prove, she also was unable to demonstrate that the White House’s proposed solutions would even address the issue without creating new, far more tangible problems for employers and employees alike in the process. After CNN host Jake Tapper noted that it is already...

The White House is getting advice from some former campaign advisers on how to win congressional support for a strike on Syria, Fox News has learned, with top White House aides soliciting their input during a long strategy session Tuesday afternoon. The aides met with former top Obama campaign hands like strategist Anita Dunn, former deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter and long-time adviser David Axelrod. (snip) Other attendees included two people who have been critical in helping plot media strategy for the president over the years -- former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and former senior White House adviser...

...Interview after interview of IRS employees by congressional investigators began to expose the inconsistencies in the administration’s narrative. There were no “rogue” agents, only employees who followed the implicit or explicit directions of more senior IRS officials in Washington. When Washington told Cincinnati IRS employees to “hold” other tea party cases while officials in Washington scrutinized early “test cases” concerning the group, they did it. When Washington told them to assign a tea party case coordinator, they obliged. Employees also told investigators that the IRS chief counsel’s office was not, as the American people were first led to believe, merely...

The Washington Examiner reported on Monday that Mark Everson, Commissioner of Internal Revenue from 2003 to 2007, during the Bush administration, visited the White House exactly once while in office. Indeed he felt like he’d “moved to Siberia” so out of the ordinary political loop was he. But Douglas Shulman, Commissioner from 2008 to 2012, during the Obama administration, visited the White House 118 times just in 2010 and 2011. His successor, Steven Miller, also visited “numerous” times. The Commissioner of Internal Revenue is a managerial position, not a policy-making one, although his input on the practical realities of tax...
