This one’s gonna burn a little, so might want to rub some salve in it if you’re not a pro-life person. Michael Deppisch spotted a tweet by Sarah Marian Seltzer, who was upset with the NRA about the UCC shooting. What Deppisch wrote had her retaliating with the best three-word response she could think of: “GFY.” [Explicit language follows*]

**WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT** The Center for Bioethical Reform, in partnership with the Grantham collection, has released the full version of a video which became a source of political controversy after the 2nd Republican debate. The 13 minute long video shows the birth of what CBR describes as a “17 1/2 week fetus.” The fetus is placed in a metal pan with a clamp attached to its umbilical cord. A comparison demonstrates the new video is the source of the brief segment that appeared in a video produced by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), a pro-life investigatory group which has...

Catholic hospitals’ refusal to perform birth control services that run counter to the Church’s beliefs came under fire from the American Civil Liberties Union this week as it launched a lawsuit aimed at compelling these institutions to comply with federal policy on this subject. “We’re taking a stand today to fight for pregnant women who are denied potentially life-saving care because doctors are forced to follow religious directives rather than best medical practices,” Brooke Tucker, an ACLU attorney, said. “That the Catholic Church considers abortion and sterilization intrinsically evil must not be allowed to grant them an exemption from abiding...

Family Research Council is deeply concerned about the status of Black America. That’s why two of our top researchers issued an important study on the present condition of black families. Titled “The State of the Black Family in America,” this February 2015 report was compiled by FRC Senior Fellow, Dr. Patrick Fagan, and lead researcher, Christina Hadford. This report honors the legacy of Dr. Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Pat Moynihan first raised serious concerns about the Black family in 1965. Moynihan, a liberal academic and later U.S. Senator, cried out for help to address the critical issue of family breakdown...

Several hours after posting a news story with several errors, including in the headline—about a CNSNews.com reporter asking Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) a question about human life—The Washington Post fixed the errors in the story by reporter Kelsey Snell but only noted one “correction” at the story’s end in the changed copy. On Thursday, Oct. 1, CNSNews.com reporter Sam Dorman attended Pelosi’s weekly press conference at the U.S. Capitol and asked her, “In reference to funding for Planned Parenthood, is an unborn baby with a human heart and a human liver a human being?” […] In Kelsey Snell’s story posted...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., refused to answer a reporter’s question about when human life begins during a press conference on Thursday. A reporter with CNSNews.com, a website affiliated with the Media Research Center, asked Pelosi, “In reference to funding for Planned Parenthood, is an unborn baby with a human heart and a human liver a human being?”

October 1, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) -- Arriving in the Philippines last January, Pope Francis warned his millions of listeners to resist “ideological colonization.†This destructive assault on families, the Pope continued, included efforts to “redefine the very institution of marriage, by relativism, by the culture of the ephemeral, by a lack of openness to life.†Africans, above all, know what he is talking about. After all, their continent has been the playground of Western imperialists for the past two centuries. Their bodies were enslaved, and their countries were colonized. Now the target is their very minds. The assembled African bishops—all 40 or so...

Controversial anti-abortion activist Troy Newman has been detained at Melbourne Airport after he travelled to Australia despite his visa being cancelled. Mr Newman, who has questioned why doctors who perform abortions were not sentenced to death, had previously been stopped in Denver in the US en route to Australia. He had his visa cancelled by the Department of Immigration on Tuesday. A spokeswoman for the Minister for Immigration Peter Dutton confirmed to Daily Mail Australia Mr Newman had been detained on Thursday morning. 'Despite having no visa to enter Australia Mr Newman-Mariotti boarded a flight and arrived in Melbourne,' she...

Ohio Department of Health Director Richard Hodges, an appointee of Gov. John Kasich, made a behind-the-scenes deal with Planned Parenthood and another abortion business so that they could keep doing surgical abortions while appealing a license denial. On Friday, the Kasich administration's Department of Health denied surgical license exceptions for Planned Parenthood in Mount Auburn and Women's Med in Dayton, because they do not have the ambulatory agreement with a local hospital required for a surgical facility license. In Ohio, a patient transfer contract is required in order to save the lives of women in cases of botched surgical abortions....

CNS News' Sam Dorman peppered House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Thursday afternoon with several questions about abortion, and a few unimpressed reporters responded quickly by assuming that he was either a conservative activist or just some protester. "A conservative journo asked Pelosi [about] what constitutes a baby being alive," MSNBC's Luke Russert tweeted, making an assumption about Dorman's political affiliations. The Washington Post's Kelsey Snell took it a step further, and initially identified Dorman in an article as a pro-life "protester." The Post has since updated its story to reflect that Dorman is, in fact, a reporter. CNS News...

Taking a nod from the gay pride movement, abortionists are calling on women to celebrate their abortion experiences on Twitter with the hashtag #ShoutYourAbortion. Really. The goal, according to Amelia Bonow, 30, who posted on Facebook on Sept. 19 that she had had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Seattle last year, was to encourage women who had kept their abortions secret to speak up. “A shout is not a celebration or a value judgment; it’s the opposite of a whisper, of silence,” Ms. Bonow said in an interview. “Even women who support abortion rights have been silent,...

On Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum went on the left-wing talk show The View, where the debate turned to one of the more persistent myths about Planned Parenthood’s services. In response to Whoopi Goldberg asking of Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding, “What will you replace it with if you take it away?” Santorum answered: Well, first off, I’m for reallocating every dollar that goes to Planned Parenthood and put them in women’s health centers that actually provide more comprehensive services than Planned Parenthood does. Planned Parenthood, for example, doesn’t provide mammograms. Now, I know people say...

Amelia Bonow is in hiding. She left her apartment here after her address was published online and the death threats began. Her crime? She had an abortion. And after the U.S. House of Representatives voted on Sept. 18 to defund Planned Parenthood, she updated her Facebook status with a proud declaration. “Hi guys!” it began. “Like a year ago I had an abortion at the Planned Parenthood on Madison Ave., and I remember this experience with a nearly inexpressible level of gratitude.” She wrote about how “the narrative of those working to defund Planned Parenthood relies on the assumption that...

Don't let the Left kid you. When It Comes to the Aborted, the Left in the United States Does Get It. They (just) ignore the truth. They are just very selective in who they grace in under their compassionate care. It's for (SOME OF) the children you know. Here is an advertisement. Consider who is being reverenced here, and who isn't. If these kids were in the last moments of their existence in their mother's womb, non of these posibilities would be heralded. Thought: Maria would have discovered the secrets of gravity, but her mother wanted a son. Thought: Kamile...

President Obama is on fire about the evil of guns! Starting to look more and more like today's shooting was a precursor to a speech. Has he congratulated Congress for funding the abortion baby hacker for body parts clinic?

"I'd say a lot of people want liver." The propagandists of Planned Parenthood don't want you to remember that earlier this summer the group apologized for the "tone" of one of its top officials, Deborah Nucatola, who casually hawked unborn baby parts to undercover journalists from the Center for Medical Progress as she swilled wine and chomped on a salad. Not long after confessing that the "tone" of their butchers might cause offense, another top Planned Parenthood trafficker, Mary Gatter, joked about scoring a luxury car after haggling over $75 baby-organ price tags. "I want a Lamborghini." "You know, in...

After 5 years, two midterm disasters, and a rollout that reminded Americans why they fell out of love with big government in the 1970s, reality has finally begun to dawn on some Democrats about Obamacare. With open enrollment about to start and a third straight round of premium spikes about to hit voters’ pockets, the Democrats’ leading presidential candidate has offered a “major break” with the Obama administration on its signature domestic policy achievement. Hillary Clinton will speak out against the so-called Cadillac tax on high-coverage health care plans, as early as this week, according to The New York Times....

Sept. 28, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) - Three weeks after I left my job at the clinic, Planned Parenthood took me to court. I am always asked, “Why would they take you to court? Did they have something to hide?†Well, yes. They absolutely had something to hide. They didn’t want me sharing the information in this article. Let’s expose the truth, shall we? Yes, I do realize that releasing this information puts me in a precarious situation. But it’s always better for the truth to be out…no matter the cost. It was life changing. I remember the first time we were...

It took testifying under oath to get Cecile Richards (CEO of Planned Parenthood) to tell the truth about what Planned Parenthood does.— She confessed that abortion does not account for “3 percent of their business†as previously regurgitated, but in fact a full 86 percent of their non-tax funded revenue.— Planned Parenthood raked in 127 million dollars “in excess of revenueâ€. She personally got a $240,000 raise two years ago bringing her yearly “compensation†up to over half a million dollars. So much for being a non-profit. — She admitted that none of the 600+ PP-clinics conduct mammograms. None. And...
