A Valentine's Day cinema screening of Fifty Shades of Grey ended in chaos when three women were arrested for attacking a man. Witnesses claim the bust-up started after the victim asked the "worse for the wear" women to quieten down during a viewing on Saturday evening. Police then rushed to Grosvenor Cinema in Glasgow's west end where they arrested three women. Cinema visitors also claimed the man had been glassed and that staff were forced to wipe blood from seats before the next screening of the film.

Protesters in Los Angeles stood outside of a cinema yesterday, protesting against the new movie "50 Shades of Grey." While the movie has been considered controversial for numerous reasons, the protesters were out in force claiming the film is part of the "patriarchy" and supports "women's enslavement." Armed with posters, fliers, and airhorns, the demonstrators claimed that the movie was part of the "War on Women" and that it "romanticized" the "enslavement" of women. So I read Fifty Shades of Grey. This is the book written by female British author “E. L. James” that became a huge bestseller, devoured by pretty much every woman on Earth except my wife (or so she claims). I think I might be the only man who read this book. I did it sneakily, hiding the cover, especially when I was on an airplane, which actually is a good place to read this book because you have access to a barf bag.
