Ever since the Russian military launched its various airstrikes and ground activities in Syria all experts have warned of the possibility of provoked or unprovoked clashes. The recent downing of a Russian Su-24 fighter jet by Turkish F-16s must be evaluated through a regional perspective, and not a mere dispute between two countries. This incident has the potential to involve the entire North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as many members of the powerful bloc have expressed their support behind Ankara. However, the most critical result of this significant change of events is the very important message received by Iran. Turkey is...

It's clear that the mainstream media is trying to destroy the noble and godly Donald Trump by absolutely smearing him and lying their mendacious lies about this statement that 100 African-American pastors were going to endorse el Trumpo, our savior and lord: ... I bet Trump will show up on Monday with a THOUSAND Black Pastors to endorse him and then the media will look sooooo stupid!! Hahahahah!!

Today is my 15th FR Anniversary. In that time I've seen the rise and fall of the Clintons, 9/11, Bush, and Obama. I've posted 1191 threads, and 18,994 posts. I've seen a lot of good FReepers come and go, and a lot of not-so-good FReepers come and go. I've truly enjoyed my time here and this has become my go-to site for any news that happens around the world. I've learned that FR and its denizens can be counted upon to break most news stories quickly and reasonably accurately. The discussions here have not only opened my eyes to new...

This past week, I actually had a student come forward after a university chapel service and complain because he felt "victimized" by a sermon on the topic of 1 Corinthians 13. It appears that this young scholar felt offended because a homily on love made him feel bad for not showing love! In his mind, the speaker was wrong for making him, and his peers, feel uncomfortable. I'm not making this up. Our culture has actually taught our kids to be this self-absorbed and narcissistic! Any time their feelings are hurt, they are the victims! Anyone who dares challenge them...

KEILAR: "I do want to ask you a final question here. Planned Parenthood, almost immediately, even before we exactly knew the facts or anything about the motivation here. We now know that the shooter referenced 'baby parts' when he was arrested. Planned Parenthood is calling this domestic terrorism. Do you agree with that assessment?" HICKENLOOPER: "Certainly it's a form of terrorism, and maybe in some way it's a function of the inflammatory rhetoric we see on all - so many issues now, there are bloggers and talk shows where they really focus on trying to get people to that point...

Gazette news partner KKTV has confirmed with family that Ke'Arre M. Stewart was one of the civilians who was shot and killed Friday when a gunman opened fire at a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs. Stewart's wife told KKTV that his children's lives will now never be the same and that what the family wants now is justice. UCCS Police Department Officer Garrett Swasey was also killed in the hours-long standoff at the building on Centennial Boulevard. A second civilian who died in the incident has not yet been identified. Nine others, including five law enforcement officers, were injured....

WAR hero turned MP Andrew Hastie is leading a call for an "honest debate" on the links between Islamic teaching and terrorism. Mr Hastie, a former SAS commander who did three tours of duty in Afghanistan, has been joined by several Coalition colleagues in calling for a reform or modernisation of Islam. "Modern Islam needs to cohere with the Australian way of life, our values and institutions. In so far as it doesn't, it needs reform," Mr Hastie told the Herald Sun. Victorian MP Michael Sukkar identified a lack of a reformation within Islam — similar to the one undergone...

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Donald Trump's divisive rhetoric is only serving to turn the international Muslim community against the U.S. "Oh, I think it has an interesting effect of turning Muslims all over the world against the United States of America, which is 99.44 percent people who practice an honorable religion," the Arizona senator said of Trump on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday. "As all of our candidates bloviate about the refugees, [Syrian President] Bashar Assad is a major cause of the refugees which are now flooding Europe and causing such consternation in the United States," he said....

"In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." ~ Benjamin Franklin ::Separating the Wheat from the Chaff:: By: Larry Walker, II ::Each 2016 GOP presidential candidate has proposed to reform the tax code. While seven have offered legitimate proposals, five have advanced theories, which are basically maniacal. Those proposing to abolish, or end, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) may be classified as crackpots, because, let's face it, that's never ever going to happen. With taxes of such fundamental concern, it's difficult to take anything else these kooks say seriously. Unless such candidates are willing...

CHARITON, Iowa — They usually mean no offense, but every now and then, supporters of Ted Cruz bring up The Question. “I’m sure you’re aware that the Constitution requires the president to be a natural-born citizen,†David Bishop, a teacher, told Cruz during a stop Saturday night in this small southern Iowa city. “Don’t get this wrong: I’m supporting your candidacy, but I hope this doesn’t become an issue for you.â€(continued)

Lower Rates Across The Board:: By: Larry Walker, II ::Here's an excerpt from Donald Trump's Tax Plan which may be found on his official website www.donaldjtrump.com : TAX REFORM THAT WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAINThe Goals of Donald J. Trump's Tax PlanToo few Americans are working, too many jobs have been shipped overseas, and too many middle class families cannot make ends meet. This tax plan directly meets these challenges with four simple goals: Tax relief for middle class Americans: In order to achieve the American dream, let people keep more money in their pockets and increase after-tax wages. Simplify...

Since his 2000 divorce, Dear seems to have become a loner who lived a quiet life - but he appears to have been much more aggressive online - seeking bondage and sadomasochistic sex online and companions to smoke marijuana with...He also appears to have posted a series of Biblical ramblings on the message boards of Cannabis.com ten years ago under a username apparently linked to Dear.

This article is explicitly copyright protected in whole or in part so let me provide a brief overview: The fundamental transformation of the world and our country has been going on for over a century now. The enemies of liberty are relentless in their pursuits. The linked pamphlet accurately predicts the post WWII undermining of our State Department by Dean Acheson and his underling Alger Hiss despite the fact that Truman and before him FDR were well aware of the risks.

When Texas middle schooler Jordan Wooley recently highlighted a reading assignment that required students to deny God, school administrators, her teacher, and some students painted her as a liar. But a flood of support from residents across the state, including and Gov. Greg Abbott, is buoying her spirits as she heads to the Governor’s Mansion Saturday to share her story. Wooley, 12, testified before the Katy Independent School Board last Monday about a reading assignment at West Memorial Junior High in which her teacher instructed students to label statements as fact, opinion or commonplace assertion, which her teacher characterized as...

A column entitled 'Hillary Clinton’s Million Little Lies' is getting a lot of attention today, almost certainly because it captures a vital aspect for the former first lady, senator, and secretary of state. Michael Walsh begins with lone of the great all-time howlers: To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, the conqueror of Mount Everest — even though she was already 6 years old when he made his famous ascent. Dame Liesalot now blames that one on her mother, safely deceased and unable to defend herself. It is very reminiscent of Elizabeth Warren...

There is a 90 percent chance the tomb of King Tutankhamun contains a hidden chamber, Egypt's antiquities minister said on Saturday at the end of a three-day probe in the boy king's burial. The investigation included for the first time the use of radar scans and focused mainly on the northern wall of the tomb.

Under the Affordable Care Act, young adults are allowed to stay on their parents' health insurance up to age 26. Since people generally like the idea of helping their own children avoid sickness and financial ruin, this has been one of the law's more popular features. But how exactly has the rule changed life for American twentysomethings? According to one new study, it seems to have given them a bit more leeway to bum around and find themselves - which is just about what you'd expect to happen when getting a job isn't a prerequisite for getting insurance. In a...

Appearing on November 29th Fox News Sunday, 2016 Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina slammed President Barack Obama and his allies as “delusional†for continually pushing the notion that climate change is a chief national security threat for the United States and the world at-large. Fiorina was asked about the issue by host Chris Wallace in context of this upcoming week’s United Nations climate change summit in Paris and the argument that addressing climate change makes the world safer and rebukes Islamic terrorists. Carly Fiorina Slams 'Delusional' Obama, Left for Pushing Climate Change as National Security Threat The GOP candidate immediately...
