Bottom Line: Trump Did What McCain Could Not
Eagle Action Report ^ | 8/27/2018 | Felicia Tweedy

It wasn't until recent years that I found myself in opposition to John McCain. The once "maverick" and "hawk" was anything but. He became a bought and paid for politician that had many in his own Party, turning on him. If it wasn't enough to learn about the numerous donations from George Soros linked businesses to his campaigns, with the rise of Donald Trump, we saw a very bitter and embattled man, who lashed out in policy decisions from what appeared to be his own personal issues.

Trump did what McCain could not. Trump went on the attack - even brutally at times - and got away with it. Trump transformed the Republican Party during his run for the White House and worst of all for McCain, Trump now occupies the White House, which McCain never achieved.

Never miss a chance to slam President Trump, do you? You can’t see that He is teaching you lefties all about diplomacy and that he is president of ALL the people!

But Trump did what McCain can no longer do. Cave. He caved on the flag issue yesterday.

I see it a bit differently. I see Trump's action on this to be one of those things in life we find distasteful but for the good of all; he took one for the team. It was a minor concession, sure, but it had the enemedia squawking like the carrion they are. Squawkers are gonna squawk. Best to give them something you want them to squawk about rather than let them define the narrative.

Make no mistake; the "enemedia" is the true enemy of America in collusion with the dem party. We can't lose sight of that fact.

Once the enemedia picked a side and started working as propaganda activists like they did during the 2016 Presidential campaign; they eliminated themselves from being the 4th pillar of government. Can't have it both ways. Either they report the news or they create the news as activists. They chose activism.

I am not disappointed. It shows me that Trump is willing to bend the rules from time to time when it benefits the citizens. Impossible to educate the uneducated so let them have a day or so of honoring the FLAG.

McCain went to Europe and did his very best to ridicule and undermine Trump and his policies. Conversely, he went overseas to carry out and supliment Soros’s and Obama’s massively destructive Arab Spring.

He sent his aid to the IRS under his name, to cajole the IRS to bankrupt the Tea Party.

McCain was a major player in disseminating the Dossiere.

McCain, after running one last time as a Conservative to end Obama Care, gave us all two middle fingers as he made his last vote, and walked out laughing with Schuemer.

I sugest that McCain had his demons. I mean, seriously. This guy had demons living inside him. The real ones. When you look at his life and what he has done, the guy had his hand on the wheel to the vehicle hat nearly wiped Christianity out in the ME and N Africa.

" on the day of death and the following day for a Member of Congress. "

Protocol for flying the flag at half staff. the WH flew the flag for McCain at half staff the day he died and the next.

Anything more is just a courtesy and much ado about nothing.

Trump did the right thing. It accomplishes nothing to be filled with hate. It oozed out of McCain and he ended his life showing what a mean and spiteful man he was.

McCain COULD have done a lot differently...he WOULD not.
Not only would not but went to great efforts to undermine the American way.

I suppose it’s highly improper to speak negatively about a person that just passed so I won’t other than to say what MCCain did on Obamacare pretty much summed up John’s political career as a turncoat loser. His only brilliant move was to select Sarah as his running mate but he even ruined that decision by tightening her reins to a point that she was just partially effective. She begged him to let her fight in Michigan and he said no. Ask Trump about campaigning in Michigan.

I have despised McCain since the early 1990s when it became obvious that he was a vicious warmonger. Despite his own Vietnam experience, he never seemed to tire of looking for ways to sacrifice our military on foreign adventures we had no business getting involved in. As a Navy vet myself, I could not stomach McCain for this reason alone. But there were many more reasons. So I will not hypocritally join in the praise or respect for him now. Although I never wished him ill in life, I have no reason to respect him now in death.

his own personal issues

Has there been a bigger warmonger in Congress in the last fifty years? Serious question. I know his buddy Lindsay Graham is usually right beside him on the wardrums.

That’s the point. The courtesy wasn’t being extended, until there was backlash. And he then caved.

It wasn’t the media as much as it was the American Legion. Are they in the same camp as the media?

Diplomacy would have never raised the flag only to lower it again. If I’m slammed him it’s only because he left himself wide open on this one.

Creepy little double-standard press bastards

No double standard at all.

People who promote the socialist Revolution get praise and air time.

People who oppose the socialist Revolution get ignored or trashed.

Party is irrelevant.

“Trump should have used the opportunity to show how much more statesmanlike he was than McCain.

And you believe this is a worthwhile objective because??

Trump knows the man is a traitor.
