CNN's Sanchez Erupts Over McCain Not Rebuking Supporter Who Called Hillary a 'Bitch'

Trying to create a scandal over Republican presidential candidate John McCain's failure to rebuke a woman supporter who called Hillary Clinton a bitch, CNN's Rick Sanchez led Tuesday night's Out in the Open with what he insisted was the relevant and newsworthy topic as he seriously asked: Is John McCain done as a result of this? He later speculated: Is his campaign dead in the water?
Betraying the skew of those at CNN, Sanchez told guest Amy Holmes: He could be in trouble for this from women, especially the ones that've been talking to me today in our newsroom who heard this and were offended. Sanchez's spin matched that of left-wing bloggers, a story in Wednesday's New York Times revealed: The clip began showing on Web sites like Salon.com, the liberal site TPM.com and others, with bloggers asking why Mr. McCain had not taken the questioner to task.
Setting up the video, Sanchez haughtily intoned: You're going to hear a McCain supporter. She refers to Hillary Clinton using really what is a horrible word that is used to do nothing but demean women. Well, at the time, it was a supporter who said that. It wasn't until later on, when we watched the whole tape, which is what you're about to see, that you see McCain's reaction, or lack thereof, that we decided that this is both relevant and newsworthy, and important information to this campaign.
An older woman at an event in South Carolina had asked: How do we beat the bitch? An appalled Sanchez complained: He says 'that's an excellent question,' after somebody refers to Hillary Clinton as a B-word which rhymes with witch.

I can’t believe sanchez took a day off from telling sob stories about poor illegal aliens and their plight.
And to attack John McCain no less! A guy who sponsored and voted for Amnesty.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.
So what’s the problem? The woman’s description of Hillary was honest. And McCain understood that.

Honestly, to wring one’s hands at being called a bitch is ... well childlike and to pretend that strong willed women don’t get called the “b word” is to live in ignorant bliss. Sanchez and the rest are making Hillary look exactly how she would not want to be portrayed as some “poor l’il girl” who “hates to be called names.” Would there be so much hand wringing and crying if the old lady had said about John Edwards, “How do we beat this bastard?” I seriously doubt it. And since when does the candidate get held responsible for the comments of 1 supporter over whom he/she has no control.... Let’s all start videotaping every interaction Hillary has with her fan club and see what unsavory things her supporters say. I am by no means a supporter of John McCain; he’s far too liberal for my tastes; however, the idea that he is responsible for a question asked by someone who supports him is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is the notion that he is obligated to defend his OPPONENT’S honor.
Plus let’s not forget the overwhelmingly obvious truth of the matter. . . Hillary is a bitch.
BTW, I’ve been called a bitch many a times. . . .My response, I’m not a bitch;I’m THE bitch ;).

Two days ago, I was having lunch in McDonald's with my son and nephew. CNN was on the TV in the corner of the room. (Thankfully, I couldn't hear it.) They headline story that they were covering when I looked up was that Kayne West's mother had died. I know a little about West and nothing about his mother, but I figured, okay, entertainment "news", if that's what they want to call it.
Two minutes later, I look up and there are STILL covering it. Shouldn't it have been a 10-second-and-out story? They finally moved on to serious news, but before we left, they were back on it. Repeating the top story, I guess.
Just another example of why no one can take CNN seriously.

Sanchez told guest Amy Holmes CNN loves Amy Holmes. She is their kind of "Republican": pro-abortion and pro-homsexual.
