why is pelosi calling for the resignation of a black democrat (which, to liberals is about as close to godlike as a human being can get) Why would she do that?
Here's why IMO-- Conyers is 88 years old. He will most likely retire, fall ill or die soon. So losing him shortly is going to happen either way.
Whereas losing Franken could potentially be the loss of a career democrat with many years ahead of him.
Going after conyers allows pelosi to look like she actually cares about women being harassed, without sacrificing much in the way of dem power.
Thus allowing her to target Roy Moore, without looking like as much of a hypocrite.

He and others like are just ‘place’ holders...so it really isn’t significant to their agenda as long as he goes with the flow...which doesn’t require reading nor any ability to comprehend a bill. That’s how they roll.

Exactly. Conyers will be gone soon anyway, and he's from a district the Democrats probably win easily anyway. So, yes, Moore is the real target.

I agree with your statement. On Sunday, Pelosi basically said that she supports liberal males war on women. Sometime took Pelosi and told her to change her mind or find yourself out of a job.
Forget about Moore. The real target is Trump. They are drying out their powder and are lining up females to go after Donald in 2020. It is the only chance they have.
And Conyers will certainly be replaced by a left wing Democrat while Franken might well be replaced by a Republican. Losing Senator count is regarded as a disaster by Democrats.
This is probably the reason for the Democrat's "Trump has dementia" meme. They are great at projecting.
