Kill the Ryan bill! Repeal the unconstitutional Obamacare or let it go bust!

Posted on 03/24/2017 1:22:04 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

A no vote on RYANcare/GOPcare is a vote FOR constitutional government.

Obamacare, RYANcare, RINOcare, GOPcare, Hillarycare, Trumpcare or ANY form of federal government mandated health care package is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! The constitution clearly reserves health care and health care insurance to the states and the PEOPLE!

The founders did not establish the federal government to be a charity or to "care for" the personal needs of the citizens. The founders never intended to create a welfare state! The constitution was intended to severely RESTRICT the powers of the federal government and to leave most governing powers to the states and the PEOPLE! The power to mandate or provide or control health care or health care insurance is not delegated to the federal government by the constitution, therefore it's reserved by the 10th amendment to the states and the people.

If they’e looking to blame someone, blame it on the founders. Blame it on the constitution.

The bill is wrong. Remember the tea party? For seven long years we’ve been demanding and voting for Republicans on a nationwide basis to repeal the unconstitutional big government socialist Obamacare. We do not want to replace it with a Republican brand of unconstitutionalism. We want it repealed, dead and gone, ripped out by the roots and the ground salted so it can never rise again.

Free markets or bust!

NO federal mandates or tinkering of any kind!

If the Republicans pass this POS, then unconstitutional federal government intrusion and mandates will be here forever (or until the rebellion anyway).

Passing this GOPcare bill sends the signal that government healthcare (some form of nationalized healthcare, socialism, single payer, etc) is perfectly fine by both major political parties and it’s just a matter of time before the democrats retake power and ram through universal single payer socialism.

Pass it and freedom is dead.

Thank you for acknowledging that 197 Republicans are nothing less or other than leftists.

Down with the Uni-Party!

Thirty-something Conservative Freedom Caucus members hardly constitute a majority and couldn’t on their own elect a speaker.

The RINOs are everywhere, including the Oval Office.

My opinion all along has been to dance wwith the one who brung us. Trust Trump
Don’t count on those who”ve screwed us time and again since Reagan...the so-called conservative republicans.

But we would be wrong to forget that PP is directly responsible for 320,000 dead babies each year

We should be proud of the Freedom Caucus, however. They have finally stood up to a president.

As it happens, several of my close relatives, including one of my children, have serious and expensive long-term medical issues. If insurance did not cover one of those conditions, I would consider it immoral to take money from others (by force, since that is what government commands constitute) to pay for something I could pay for myself with a mortgage. No, even in the sob story case, I’m not a fan of compelling insurance companies to take on a new patient and cover such preexisting conditions at a loss, nor am I a fan of compelling my neighbors to do so.

Let’s see:

P.P. keeps getting funded to kill the most vulnerable unborn,
Medical devices keep getting taxed,
Premiums keep rising,
Deductibles keep rising,
Subsidies keep rising,
More insurance companies drop out limiting competition.

I don’t think we can stand many more Freedom Caucus wins!

My point is that Republicans should quit sniping at each other and direct their fire at the Democrats who created ObamaCare.

yours is a very pithy question.

my guess is insurance company lobbyists partnered with congressional staffers (and possibly bureaucrats).

"Planned parenthood will continue to be funded."

There should be separate legislation for that.

They should be prosecuted, shut down and brought to justice.

They are organized crime, subject to RICO.

The President can take action on Planned Parenthood now, separate from Obamacare legislation.

From a Breitbart article during the primaries:

On Tuesday during a Newsmax TV interview on The Hard Line, Cruz repeated his pledge to immediately defund Planned Parenthood if he were elected president next year.

"I will instruct the United States Department of Justice to open an investigation into Planned Parenthood and to prosecute any and all criminal violations by that organization," he said.

Cruz urged all Americans to watch the Planned Parenthood videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress.

"In this latest video, they describe a little boy who after an abortion his heart was still beating and yet the technicians took scissors and cut the child’s face open to remove his brain, to sell it for profit," Cruz said. "That is inhuman."

He continued:

It is a federal crime. It is a felony to sell the body parts of unborn children. What a sad statement about our government today that nobody in the media, nobody in the political world, thinks there's any chance whatsoever — zero chance — that the Obama Justice Department would even investigate Planned Parenthood because they're a political ally of the president.

It doesn't matter that they're caught on tape admitting to multiple felonies. The administration of justice should be blind to party and ideology and should follow the laws and the Constitution.

Hopefully, Jeff Sessions is on this right now.

There will be five upcoming special elections to fill vacant House seats,

and I predict that the Republicans will lose every damn one of them.

“Premiums keep rising,

RINOcare did nothing to address the causes of these problems.

Irrelevant to your petulant snark about “finally stood up to a president.”

It was a snark. They’re as useless as tits on a boar.

When they had a chance to lead they wimped instead. Never opposed Boehner and Ryan in any substantial way.

They are the complainer chorus in the peanut gallery.

So we keep funding the killing of the unborn and the taxing of medical equipment became we didn’t get all we wanted in the first bill. Great mature thinking.

Moving the goalposts - the point is that the Freedom Caucus can't be blamed for the above problems, as you did, because RINOcare did nothing to address them.

Yipee the RYANCARE or TrumpCare Bill is dead. Now maybe, just maybe we can find some grown men in the room and construct a Constitutional bill that will REPEAL and return the business of healthcare back to the PEOPLE.

Buying insurance and healthcare are two totally different things and I do not want our FERAL Government in either.
