A no vote on RYANcare/GOPcare is a vote FOR constitutional government.
Obamacare, RYANcare, RINOcare, GOPcare, Hillarycare, Trumpcare or ANY form of federal government mandated health care package is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! The constitution clearly reserves health care and health care insurance to the states and the PEOPLE!
The founders did not establish the federal government to be a charity or to "care for" the personal needs of the citizens. The founders never intended to create a welfare state! The constitution was intended to severely RESTRICT the powers of the federal government and to leave most governing powers to the states and the PEOPLE! The power to mandate or provide or control health care or health care insurance is not delegated to the federal government by the constitution, therefore it's reserved by the 10th amendment to the states and the people.
If theye looking to blame someone, blame it on the founders. Blame it on the constitution.
The bill is wrong. Remember the tea party? For seven long years weve been demanding and voting for Republicans on a nationwide basis to repeal the unconstitutional big government socialist Obamacare. We do not want to replace it with a Republican brand of unconstitutionalism. We want it repealed, dead and gone, ripped out by the roots and the ground salted so it can never rise again.
Free markets or bust!
NO federal mandates or tinkering of any kind!
If the Republicans pass this POS, then unconstitutional federal government intrusion and mandates will be here forever (or until the rebellion anyway).
Passing this GOPcare bill sends the signal that government healthcare (some form of nationalized healthcare, socialism, single payer, etc) is perfectly fine by both major political parties and its just a matter of time before the democrats retake power and ram through universal single payer socialism.
Pass it and freedom is dead.
It cost him about 15 votes in the house of rep today.... Sorry I have to explain it.
Death to Fedzilla!
Death panels? There have been some arguments about the existence of death panels.
The reason I asked you is because since Obamacare I have been hospitalized with a stroke and have had some other minor problems and all were handled well by Medicare so I was wondering what you meant.
.
All they had to do was dust of the Zerocare repeal reconciliation bill they sent to Zero in early 2016. It passed the Congress already, is heading in the right direction and contains no bs. All they had to do and Ryan could not do it. Had to get another agenda taken care of.
Thanks-—I just posted a message to you before seeing this-——ignore it.
I will now read your link——and thanks again.
You just make this stuff up as you go along, don’t you.
It’s remarkable.
The President says Obamacare will implode on its own as it is not sustainable. No doubt that is true.
BUT, what they plan on doing to keep it going is to just keep bailing it out with more tax dollars....just like they do in the U.K.
So, sports fans, in a three dimensional chess tournament, President Trump hands the Rhinos their a**es and effectively boxes Paul Ryan’s ears. The babbling Rhinos had nothing in their magic boxes for the last 7 years after all. Nothing like a public drubbing to humble a person. Oh, and Paul Ryan, would you return to the locker room to turn in your Speaker tee shirt and keys? Thank you. That is all. Now, if the JV would clear the court, it is time for Varsity to step in.
What needs to happen NOW is for true patriots to get the wheels turning on identifying replacement candidates for the RINOs and get rid of them once and for all.
Just let ObamaCare go bust.
The Freedom Caucus, the Countryclub Caucus, and the RINO Caucus of the GOP need to agree to put forward a unified message: Democrat intransigence prevented the GOP from reforming the health care system. Democrats created ObamaCare without a singe GOP vote. When it fails, they own it. But the public won’t know that if conservatives blame each other instead of blaming Democrats for their insane ObamaCare scheme.
Not really.
Ryancare merely reduced the penalty for failure to obtain medical insurance to $0.00. The mandate remained, which means a future Congress could raise the amount of that penalty at any time.
Too many people have been told the government should take care of all problems. I really wish the CONGRESS followed the Constitution.
The problem is that the GOP will not let Obamacare go bust. They will mend it, not end it.
Interesting that Ryan won’t submit a bill to repeal Obama Care...I’d like to see the vote on that one...
>>Just let ObamaCare go bust.
*****************************
The only problem with this is, although it will go bust, the Feds will always step in and fund it, like they do with so many other unconstitutional programs.
I think as the numbers of people opting out increases, we will begin to see Cash-only Payment Plans pop up, for doctors as well as for hospitals. This will be a GREAT thing!
The crap coming from the GOPe/WSJ/NeverTrumpers bashing conservatives and Trump is really coming out now. They didn’t get their worthless Ryancare bill passed and by God they’re gonna make Trump and the Freedom Caucus pay.
I was misinformed.
Pre-Obamacare, the only healthcare crises was the supposed 40 million uninsured.
Under Obamacare, that number magically got reduced to 20 million and they were basically covered by Obamacare.
Return to pre-Obamacare free market insurance policies/coverage and allocate special funding to cover those 20 million. That would still be cheaper than the extortionist Obamacare.
But ... Obamacare was never meant to be healthcare coverage, was it.
Ryan should consider that his political career just ended.
This no-vote was actually a no-confidence vote in his leadership capability.
