Has there ever been this level of resistance/interference by a prior administration to the incoming?

Has there ever been this level of resistance/interference by a prior administration to the incoming in U.S. history? Haven't we always prided ourselves on our smooth and peaceful transitions of power from one elected administration/party to the next?

If we didn't know better and understand that this cannot happen in America, the level of organized and criminal interference and obstruction against the duly elected President Trump being put up by former President Obama himself and his new socialist organization, the entire democrat party, the GOP establishment, the entrenched holdovers throughout government, the liberal activist judges and the liberal media might start looking like an attempted coup is in process.

The Deep State is DEEP and WIDE, to include so called “conservative” republicans. Trump has landed in the gigantic septic pool that is called Washington D.C.

Jim,
That’s a well stated long overdue question that we conservatives need to loudly hound the left with.

Shameless political Marxist hacks.

Clinton was illegitimate but eligible. Hussein was both.

Don’t forget that the Civil War broke out shortly after his election. I think we are that close to actual fighting today. It is hard to believe the changes that have gone on in the attitude of the public over the last 60 years. The bad changes associated with the change in demographics plus economic changes

The question really cannot be answered due to massive technology changes and how history is written.

Technology - I’d say the biggest chance of there being interference of any sort would be when the country was probably just as divided, which would be the Civil War era. Clandestine efforts such as electronic surveillance simply did not exist. But I betcha more manual methods did.

History - Fake news is nothing new, it just changes names to suit more modern times. To what extent would any transition troubles be reported “honestly” back in the Lincoln era? Probably the same that’s being honestly reported now by the MSM which ranges from none to zero. What historians honestly record is questionable too, and is not necessarily written by the winners.

But for the sake of our own “bubble”, which I define as what we personally know that has happened in our life time, the answer is NO.

No, but then we have never had a black, anti-American, community organizer for president before.

No, there hasn’t, and people should be terrified because as long as we’re all sitting around playing patty-cake, the socialist coup that was unseated in 2016 is still influencing American domestic policy to the point of eventual takeover. If ever were there a time when we needed Senator Joe McCarthy it would be now. I simply cannot believe how our society has changed for the worse. I’ll be 57 and in that regard, I’m glad I won’t live forever.

Not in my lifetime.

As each day passes Dems get more ridiculous as well as media and web sites backing those Dems that they’re in the tank for.

I think we’re going to find out that the Obama Administration may have been spying on Trump as far back as 2013, when Trump was first asked about the possibility of running for President.

You know the answer. I think the reason is that the left lost the momentum for decades as a result of Reagan and his success, and they are determined to prevent Trump from having any success. That goes for the Bush wing, too, which had to pretend for 8 years before being allowed to go ahead with their globalization plans.

I’m really distressed by the Wall Street Journal editorial about Trump, like a drunk to an empty gin bottle. There’s a level of disrespect to the President that I’ve never seen before and it’s mind-numbing to the common citizen. Seems there’s a coup going on. If Trump tries to take out the seditionists, the other side screams Watergate.

the undermining of a sitting US President = espionage. Espionage committed by American citizens = a treasonous act and is an attack on this country. Lack of an effective response by US Government officials to stop the attack = complicity and surrender and all are crimes against the American people.
