Trump in future debates should:

Posted on 09/27/2016 7:59:49 AM PDT by LeonardFMason

Trump in future debates should make these points:

Secretary Clinton said last debate her secret and hidden email system was a "mistake". The only reason she now says it was a mistake was she was caught. If it was just a so-called innocent "mistake" why have all the people involved lawyered up and taken the 5th? If there is nothing to hide why is everyone hiding? Sadly, this type of reckless behavior and non-conformity to the rules is what people expect from the Clinton's. The American people deserve so much better.

My record of hiring and promoting women is well documented. My record of promoting diversity and tearing down walls based on race is well documented. Secretary Clinton has a record with women she doesn't like to talk about. I don't blame her. Sexual assault victims should expect support. Woman who have been treated so inappropriately deserve a voice. They shouldn't have been called "trailer trash" and other hurtful things. I think her unbridled desire for power and position has caused the Secretary to say and do things she now deeply regrets.

WHAT else should he say?

It was a systematic deception plan to ensure her management and mismanagement would not be susceptible to FOIA requests.

Ignore anyone that tries to get him to over calculate. Trump should just be himself. He should start getting sleep every day/night starting at least 3 nights before to speed up his reaction time. I think he will be fine if people just chill out and let him be himself. He has a lot he wants to say in little time...

When the cybersecurity issue was raised, he should have gone after that related to her email recklessness, and also that of the DNC.

Some comment was made about (can’t remember details) about Trump refusing (years ago?) to hire pregnant women, and this might have been an opening to say that there are different laws in place now, somehow transition to abortion is not the solution.

In general, he needed to somehow inject Benghazi and the lies related to it. He needed to talk less about himself and his success, and more about the stains on her record.

Just my opinion.

He probably should just to cover his bases but most people that are voting for Clinton have factored in the trust issues. They know she is slimy and could either not care or believe that Trump is more unreliable.

Learn about and explain the Convention of the States??

Talk law and order.

Talk tax-specific policies...

Bring the BOR and the Constitution to the fore.

List the executive orders he will rescind on day One.

....

The reality is that the debates are not all that long and my “should’ves” list is not realistic. Mr. Trump is not a seasoned, crooked, calculated politician. He did just fine.

Challenge PIAPS to a driving test competition or similar test that will highlight her lack of motor and coordination skills.

Never accept the left’s premise. Example: the birther movement is racist = it’s not an inherently racist issue. Hillary brought it up first so the whole thing will go away because Trump can prove she brought it up; however the generic point is to NEVER accept the left’s basic premise on anything.

ALWAYS (calmly, never belligerent - Trump did great with this last night) be on offense at the end of your turn.

Never use the (I am superior) smirk!! Hillary’s smirk was offensive! Trump did not do this and this was great and Trump should never ever be tempted to use this type of disgust inspiring non verbal communication. Go Trump!

The left might state the problem correctly but they NEVER have the correct solution. Some non savvy types are fooled that the left’s solution is the correct solution because they are capable of seemingly smoothly laying out the issue correctly. (This is not always the case; sometimes the tactic is to obfuscate the problem. However, when the pattern is to lay out the problem including the wrong solution; call them out on it! Always be aware of this and point it out forcefully and often.

Maybe do exactly the same:
http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/election/article104382951.html

“CHARLOTTE —

Kae Roberts and Jay Eardly were leaning toward Hillary Clinton before Monday night’s debate.

By the end, they had both pulled away.

John Kokos and Hank Federal were undecided going in, potential Clinton backers.

By the end, they’d ruled her out...”

Trump should reference:

Haiti?
Pay to play?

Give specific examples of both.

Obama Care. Fees slated to rise after Nov. 1. Just before election. Dems in Congress tried to delay increase until after election. Trump needs to give specifics.

He had a great opportunity with cyber-security, to note how knowledgeable Hillary is on how to secure sensitive information, how her IT crew uses cyber tools to wipe servers to keep that information private, and how to not divulge anything under questioning. “She’s a pro at that.”

“she now says it was a mistake”

So she admits to having poor judgment. Why does nobody point this out?

Trump in future debates should stress that he won’t waste trillions of dollars on Middle East misadventures and bogus energy schemes. He did a fairly good job of that in debate one and this is the foundation of any possible victory for him.

He should take this approach ... “Hillary, I know you are a slick debater, but nothing — NOTHING — can alter the fact that the administration that you were such a key part of, in the past eight years, wasted four (five?) trillion dollars. That is a huge — HUGE — waste of public money.”

What he should NOT do is go after Bill Clinton’s womanizing, that will not play well with women voters who will wonder why this is a reason not to vote for Hillary. He was wise to hold back from that under provocation. Anyway, everybody knows this and nothing about that will make much of a difference with voters now.

Finally, what he should do is to be less defensive about Obama. I would go after his record, his strange personality, his apparent anti-American sentiments, and as to his birthplace, I would just say well anyone would have to wonder where the guy was born, his records in general are very spotty and his track record suggests a lack of patriotism. Let that hang out there for the rest of the campaign. Obama’s vanity will force him to reinforce those statements and there’s not a thing Hillary can do about it.

I thought Trump’s best line was “I’ll release my taxes when you release the 33,000 deleted emails.” I was sorry he did not mention her stated plan to put every coal miner out of work when she was talking about jobs. When she said she would defeat ISIS, he should have said you wouldn’t lift a finger to defeat 150 thugs who killed 4 Americans in Libya. I would have reminded everyone of all the recent terror attacks in this country and that Hillary wants to increase Middle East immigration 550%. On the birther issue, I would have said Obama is not on the ballot and no one cares about that now plus your 2008 campaign first brought it up. I would have said, How can anyone trust you when even the FBI Director says you don’t tell the truth? I hope Trump’s folks will get these comments in at the next debate.

As far as talking about himself, yes, a lot less. But in particular, he needs to get off of defense.

I learned long ago that a tactic that guilty people (Hitlery, media co-conspirators) use is to attack, attack, attack. This way they can keep the other party playing defense and run out the clock and avoid answering any questions about their own criminal behavior. This deflects attention away from their many gigantic flaws and focuses attention on the other person’s small ones.

Mr. Trump should bring out this fact:If there was anything wrong in my tax returns, the obama IRS would have leaked it to the NY Times and it would be all over the press.

When clinton releases the 30,000 Emails I will release my tax returns.
