“she now says it was a mistake”

So she admits to having poor judgment. Why does nobody point this out?

Trump in future debates should stress that he won’t waste trillions of dollars on Middle East misadventures and bogus energy schemes. He did a fairly good job of that in debate one and this is the foundation of any possible victory for him.

He should take this approach ... “Hillary, I know you are a slick debater, but nothing — NOTHING — can alter the fact that the administration that you were such a key part of, in the past eight years, wasted four (five?) trillion dollars. That is a huge — HUGE — waste of public money.”

What he should NOT do is go after Bill Clinton’s womanizing, that will not play well with women voters who will wonder why this is a reason not to vote for Hillary. He was wise to hold back from that under provocation. Anyway, everybody knows this and nothing about that will make much of a difference with voters now.

Finally, what he should do is to be less defensive about Obama. I would go after his record, his strange personality, his apparent anti-American sentiments, and as to his birthplace, I would just say well anyone would have to wonder where the guy was born, his records in general are very spotty and his track record suggests a lack of patriotism. Let that hang out there for the rest of the campaign. Obama’s vanity will force him to reinforce those statements and there’s not a thing Hillary can do about it.
