A representative from the American Family Association (AFA) attended today's meeting of Target shareholders in southern California. AFA's Abraham Hamilton III was present to again express concern towards Target's recent policy change that allows men into women's restrooms. According to reports from One News Now, Target did more than triple-down on its perverse restroom policy.
According to Hamilton, Target's response to the concerns raised by AFA was, "We don't care what you have to say. We don't care what the American Family Association represents. We don't care what those people who signed your petition represent. We are committed to the complete overhaul of American society as it pertains to sex." Based on this response, AFA declared that it would step-up it's boycott efforts of Target. Hamilton declared that "Father's Day is right around the corner ... and even back-to-school efforts, [so] we plan to increase and expand our boycott effort because Target has put us in an unenviable position by saying We don't care what you think - so we're going to have to make them care what we think."
And remember, another way to make Target "care what we think" is, the very first time a sexual predator attacks a victim in a Target restroom, Target must be vigorously sued for every penny allowed. The only thing these amoral fools seem to understand is their financial bottom line.
Said the CEO as he fills out his unemployment insurance form.
Obviously I did something incorrect. I’ll try again.
Well...just damn. And here all this time I thought Target was all about selling merchandise.
So, now a dime-store merchant gets to decide what America thinks about sex? The whole BOD’s has got to be made up of liberals.
I’m done with them for good. They sell NOTHING that can’t buy at other stores, or on line.
No, I'd say the amoral fools do not understand their financial bottom line. They appear to be locked on a course from which they will not deviate, regardless of the financial consequences. This is like Gay C. Penney all over again.
Well Target just made itself a huge target for conservatives.
Traget is OFF our list for any and all purchases
1. this policy of letting grown men into the little girls’ room, is DANGEROUS, immoral, and disrespectful of women
2. it is NOT the business of a public-traded corporation to “transform society”... its business is to make the best profits it can for its shareholders (usually, by providing the best possible products, services, and prices for its customers). We intend to help Target see the light by NOT patronizing them ... maybe their shareholders will eventually DEMAND that the company management gets back to legitimate business?
You would think they would be committed to “selling quality goods at a reasonable price to as many customers as possible”
Target can go straight to hell.
I don’t think there are enough freaks to keep them in business.
At least I hope not.
“We are committed to the complete overhaul of American society as it pertains to sex.”
I’m calling BS on this. No way the board or any executive said anything close to this.
Not only is it ridiculous, there is no group besides the Fed that has this kind of power.
That being said, I will never shop at Target again. I haven’t for years.
Other than it ‘forces’ one to darken their doorstep, a good one would be go fill up 3 or 4 shopping carts, wheel them up to the check out stand and leave.
Now I am sure someone, somewhere has a law against this OR one will quickly be in place, the other BETTER alternate is let them ring up the full shopping carts, reach for your wallet and say
“OH SHUCKS, I forgot my wallet. I will be right back.
OH! Aren’t you the people with the open rest room policy?
Sorry, I forgot about that also.
See ya...
What I find very interesting about this entire “Bathroom” issue.
Prior to 0bama’s edict, was it illegal for a man to enter a women’s restroom? Or a Woman entering the Men’s room?
I have come to believe that it wasn’t “necessarily” illegal in most States, but was addressed and dealt with on the rare “Case by case” occurrence.
If a man made a honest mistake and accidentally walked into a woman’s restroom, in most cases he would say “oops, my bad, sorry” and excuse himself. The women may be startled but would not make a big deal about it. The same would happen if a woman accidentally walked into the men’s room.
Now, if a man was repeatedly seen hanging out around or in the Woman’s restroom he would be seen as a pervert that needed to be stopped. If I recall correctly, there are actually laws in some states that forbid men from hanging out around play grounds.
What I find interesting is the public’s response, including businesses, that go completely counter to established laws in many States.
There’s no way this “edict” can override a States law that has been tested and designed to protect our kids.
But it advances nonetheless because way too many leaders are afraid to say otherwise.
And everybody is supposed to just fall in line?
Please understand, 0bama’s “Bathroom edict” isn’t designed to be a “Right” for “trans-whatevers” to go wherever they want.
It has been designed to undermine the moral fiber of our society. To take what was “understood” as wrong or deviant and make it illegal to say so.
A while ago, doing background research on Target, I found that their Board was persuing essentially the same policy in 2006, well before the new CEO was brought on board.
So the Board sought out this man because he shared their views.
Hell of a way to run a national retail chain, damn the customers, we’re degenerates and you’ll like it or else....go elsewhere.
AFA should be knocking on the doors of big institutional investors to see how far the rot extends.
Hope you go outta business Target. That’ll be an example to just do what’cha do best, retail, and stay out of the social engineering nonsense.
“Target is dead to me.”
It has always been dead to me, except for the day I went with a friend who is a PI to to the local Target to serve my daughter’s then soon to be ex-husband with divorce papers. Otherwise, I don’t intend to ever go in one of them again.
..............”The only thing these amoral fools seem to understand is their financial bottom line.”
Apparently not even that.
Target was owned by the family of Minnesota governor Mark Dayton (a fraternity brother of George W. Bush and an ex-husband of Jay Rockefeller’s sister). The family may still play an important role in the company.
Target is the Fag Shack. Boycott ==> permanent. Target is dead to me.
