Something of an “LBJ-loses-Cronkite-moment” for Clinton.
It is a pyrrhic victory, at best.
It means the Demons have decided to run someone who can take Trump on.
She committed felonies. Many felonies, and many counts for each one.
Hey USA-Today! Julius and Ethel Rosenberg broke the rules also diden’t they?
“Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were American citizens tried, convicted, and executed for conspiracy to commit espionage. They were instrumental in the passing of information about the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, speeding his development of Soviet nuclear weapon development”.
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Let’s take note of two phrases and their subsequent implications:
“Broke the RULES”
Aw, now now there, the girl broke the rules. Write your spelling words 15 times.
“Broke the LAW”
Now we’re talking SERIOUS.
See how just by using the lesser word, Rules, her actions are diminished in the mind of the citizen.
This is how propaganda and brainwashing works.
Yes, this is clearly the Democrats publicly indicting her now.
There is nothing ambiguous or delicately-worded about it.
The editorial flat-out says she didn’t act as any responsible official should - and she and her campaign have to take this as a show of no confidence in her.
She has to be through, and thinking of all the reasons Democrats have for putting an end to her candidacy, and coming up with someone else, there’s just no reason for them to hang onto her and go down defending her.
This editorial actually uses the term “criminal investigation,” and suggests that even though politically Clinton should speak up, maybe legally-wise, it’s smarter for her to be taking the Fifth.
I agree with you wendle. It does look like rico.
But that still leaves the $6 BB unaccounted for.
I agree, but did you read the article?
It actually suggests she might have broken the law a number of times. It says she should speak up to clear the air, but that then again perhaps keeping silence since she is under potential criminal investigation might be wiser for her to do. So it suggests she might be exercising her Fifth Amendment rights by her silence. That’s not just about “rule-breaking.”
I wonder what the polling data about her honesty is saying right now?
Very encouraging. The MacNewspaper of the nation is picking up on Hilary’s corruption.
LIVs may even get the message (repetition will help).
It's an editorial with a very weak headline that will not be read even by the usual captive business travelers, dental patients, and complementary subscribers that make up 98% of USA Today's "readership."
Talk about burying the lede.
Barbara Olson’s 1998 book on Hillary titled “Hell to Pay”, seems so appropriate. Finally!
Time for a public series of rapid-fire updates on Olson’s “Hell to Pay” — Shrillary’s diehard supporters will never care, but there are several generations (in political terms) of voters for whom Shrillary’s lifetime of pathological lying and criminality is not even a memory:

Broke the rules. Is that comparable to breaking the law? Everybody is soft peddling on the actual level of criminality. They will let her get away with it.
Completely agree. It’s not a coincidence that they are all publishing stories with that “broke the rules” phrase at the same time.
I hope your post will jog our memory of this lovely and intelligent lady on this Memorial Day.
She was a highly-respected FReeper. Her plaque is on the FR Memorial Wall (link on bottom of FR Home Page, about 10 names down).
Below hers is the plaque of FReeper NYFD Battalion Chief John Moran, one of the fire-fighting heroes at the Twin Towers, sadly killed there in the line of duty on that infamous day in our history.
Rest in peace, dear fellow FReepers.
Leni
