To: Faith Presses On

Let’s take note of two phrases and their subsequent implications:

“Broke the RULES”

Aw, now now there, the girl broke the rules. Write your spelling words 15 times.

“Broke the LAW”

Now we’re talking SERIOUS.

See how just by using the lesser word, Rules, her actions are diminished in the mind of the citizen.

This is how propaganda and brainwashing works.

I agree, but did you read the article?

It actually suggests she might have broken the law a number of times. It says she should speak up to clear the air, but that then again perhaps keeping silence since she is under potential criminal investigation might be wiser for her to do. So it suggests she might be exercising her Fifth Amendment rights by her silence. That’s not just about “rule-breaking.”

Oh, so when I stuck the gun in the bank teller's face and demanded money, I was breaking the RULES?

That's good to know.

I'm certain that will work if I get pulled over for speeding.

Officer, I didn't know there were RULES against that.
