Greta makes an unexpected statement about Cruz
REdstate ^ | May 3, 2016 | RedState

Gretawire reported: Senator Ted Cruz complained this morning about Fox News Channel being unfair to him. He took a few swipes at Fox News Channel CEO Roger Ailes and 21st Century Fox Chairman Rupert Murdoch for turning Fox News into the “Donald Trump Network.” In taking those swipes, he also took swipes at my show and my staff on ON THE RECORD at 7p since we have worked hard to give Cruz equal opportunity and we have.

Hence I respond with the whole story. If Senator Ted Cruz told the whole story this is what he would have to tell you: Almost every single day (including weekends) since at least last December when he last appeared on ON THE RECORD at 7p, the staff of ON THE RECORD at 7p has contacted the Cruz campaign offering Senator Ted Cruz live interviews, taped interviews or town halls. We even told his campaign on dozens occasions that they could pick the date and location for the town halls. He did not take us up on our offers. The staff claimed he was unavailable.

The whole “lyin Ted” thing is getting old, and makes my decision easier not to support Trump, based on the vitriol and ridiculousness of his supporters.

If you don't see it that's your choice. But for a lot of former Cruz supporters (like me), Cruz is definitely NOT the "face of God".

HUNH ????????????

The STINKING COMMIES And fellow travelers and pinkos, HATED Nixon because when he was running against Helen Gahagen Douglas, for the Senate seat from California, he had flyers about her printed on PINK PAPER. It was a "tricky" slap at Helen for her PINKO positions. And THAT is how the "TRICKY DICKIE" thing got started.

Mr. Nixon was a staunch anti-Commie ( GOD BLESS HIM ! ) and so the lefties HATED him for decades and WHY I am always upset to see people here use that SMEAR.

He was polite until Cruz refused to acknowledge defeat and return to his party. I mean, Cruz’s ludicrous long pauses left room for Joe the Humorist to insert rapier thrusts that would have been parried by a high school debater. But, no, Ted plowed earnestly on, piling up insult after insult while carrying on as if he was speaking to Ben Bernake. Combine that with Carly’s nosedive, being insulted by a ten year old, Cruz had the type of 48 hours I wouldn’t wish on Hillary Clinton. Oh, wait...

I always thought the irreverent and evil Froggie of Pluck Your Magic Twanger was a harbinger of the 1960s.

Same here.

From Trump we hear, "Make America Great Again!", and "Build the Wall!".

I was expecting to hear a similarly catchy set of phrases describing Ted's stance and yet I haven't. Have you? How would you sum up what Cruz would accomplish as President?

The bottom line for me now is that I believe that Trump has a better chance of beating Hillary than Cruz and that any Supreme Court nominee by Trump will be so far superior to any Hillary nominee, that supporting Trump now is a no-brainer.

Did I miss something about Cruz that I should be considering?

It’s perfectly clear that the powers that be at Fox have
told staff to favor Trump! I am sick of seeing and hearing trump on Fox! Trump is nothing but a circus act: he is as vain as Obamy.

It’s entirely possible to be anti-communist and still be a dishonest creep. And like I said, he supported many liberal programs. He gave us affirmative action, the EPA and wage and price controls. Imagine if Obama mandated than no businesses could raise prices or wages without permission from the federal government, and set up a bureaucracy to enforce it, all buy executive order. What would the reaction be?

Not that he didn’t do some good things too, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t crooked as the day is long. He was.

Sam, that's a really stupid reason to NOT vote for Trump, when he is the GOP nominee. time out, at the least

The majority of active posters, who are Cruz supporters, have been more vicious and nasty about Trump and his supporters here, since he threw his hat into the ring. Perhaps YOU didn't make those kinds of posts; however, this post of yours is just a silly excuse and against what JR has posted. It's time to unite and support Mr. Trump.

Not doing so, earns you a time out, at the least.

“Never held a private sector job, graduated from Harvard, constitutional scholar, lawyer, junior senator, foreign born, hides his real name, hid his nationality during his senate run, repeatedly failed to vote as senator, and immediately began seeking the office of president once elected. He is also the anointed one.”

Have you seen the anti-Cruz posts here? They have been over the top. The anti-Trump crowd have been angels compared to the vitriol from the anti-Cruz camp. Revenge seems appealing to me. Hilary might just be worth it.

But, no, Ted plowed earnestly on, piling up insult after insult while carrying on as if he was speaking to Ben Bernake.

What insults? I didn't hear any. And what does Ben Bernanke have to do with anything?

If I were Cruz I wouldn't have bothered with the guy, and I can see where Ted might have been thought condescending as he went on talking.

But being a jerk like that guy was does nothing for American politics.

As pathetic as the Rubio, repeat of talking point, brain freeze in the debate. Cruz repeated the long histrionic pause over and over again, each time letting the other guy interject zingers. Cruz acted like a robot whose programming was caught in a loop.

The trick of confronting skeptics worked in previous videos so he was way overconfident.

So much for Cruz being able to think and adapt on his feet. The self inflicted foot wound came at a perfect time - just before the primary!

Well, you apparently can’t read or comprehend. Sort of like Cruz not realizing who he was talking to and adjusting himself accordingly.

Liberty.

But no one wants that anymore. Government got us in this mess and by Trump more government is going to get us out.

Yes, Andy Devine always announced: Pluck your magic twanger! I shudder to think what the writers were up to with that one. Froggie was one rude gremlin and he had a slew of Cruzes to choose from! The actor Vito Scotti being his main stooge.
