Hear Come the Whistle-Blowers– Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) spilled the beans tonight on the Benghazi hearings scheduled for May 8th. Gowdy said “first hand witnesses” will be testifying on the massacre and coverup. He told Greta – she won’t want to miss it. “Well I am not liberty to disclose the identity of the witnesses but I will just say what I have said previously which is it is going to be a very informational and instructive hearing. I would encourage you to follow it. Benghazi is warming up. It is not going away despite the efforts of this administration…...

Dick Morris is gone from Fox News. Meanwhile, Karl Rove has been given a new multiyear contract. But why? A Fox News spokesman said only that the network chose not to renew Morris' contract. It's not hard to figure out why. Morris was glaringly wrong on the outcome of the 2012 presidential contest, predicting often and loudly that Mitt Romney would win in a romp. Funny thing is that Karl Rove was conspicuously wrong about the presidential results, too. Rove just wasn't as vociferous as Morris, except on Election Night. Even respected conservative elections analyst and commentator Michael Barone called...

While the departure of Sarah Palin from Fox News as a paid contributor has caused endless speculation (as well as endless jubilation among her enemies) there are just a few known facts, according to the story in RealClearPolitics. After some negotiations for a renewal of her contract, Palin was made an offer which was refused. The parting of the ways is said to be amicable. That doesn't mean that some informed speculation is not warranted.

There were many security cameras at the Benghazi US Consulate. One camera was positioned to (and did) record Ambassador Stevens, on September 11, saying good night at 8:40pm Libya time to a Turkish Diplomat. The video from this camera – I am told – shows (and proves) there was NO PROTEST outside our Consulate. The Obama Administration had that tape immediately and they knew what it showed and knew it immediately. Anyone who watched the video observed the obvious.

Did anyone watch Greta tonight? Newt predicted Romney win with over 300 Electoral votes, GOP to take the Senate. Gingrich said R/R will win Wisconsin, Greta, from Wisconsin, educated at U of W says she's believed that sence Ryan was put on the ticket. (I watch her most nights, this is the first time I've heard her admit this.) Newt based his predictions on polls, talking to those on the ground, and his own years of experience. Also thinks Romney will more then likely take PA and Ohio.

DIRECT LINK Gov. Palin appeared on Fox News' "On The Record" Tuesday night, shortly after new broke that emails show the Obama Administration knew the Benghazi attacks was carried out by terrorists as it was happening. Gov. Palin told host Greta Van Susteren that the media's cover for the administration has been blown. "They knew and they lied," she said, calling the coverup "atrocious" and "appalling." -Josh Painter

The domestic violence in Shepard’s past is both shocking and repulsive in detail. On February 15, 1998, police were called to then-Mrs. Shepard’s house (the couple had been separated since June of the previous year) by a girlfriend. According to the police report (.pdf file), Mrs. Shepard said of her husband: Read on. Joseph entered my home. I told him to leave. He came up to me looking angry. I put my hands up to protect my breasts as they are sore (cancer). He has hit me before in the breast. He grabbed my wrist and arm and pushed me...

I have not seen Newt Gingrich on Fox News as an employee or as a guest. The included link shows that Newt was on Greta last night. This is a very welcome occurence. There have been other calls, including the Daily Caller, for the Romney campaign to reach out and use Newt to help define the issues against the Obama campaign. I hope that Romney announces that Newt will be a key team member in a new Romney administration. Anyway, enjoy the video link. http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/on-the-record/2012/09/21/gingrich-obama-entertainer-chief-not-commander-chief-dangerous-world-presidency-vaudevill

There were approximately 3000 people immediately here in the square, reporters noted there were more people at the events Palin and Gingrich held at The Villages. I’m told about 5K people were in the crowd when Romney spoke but I wasn’t here and can’t provide a comparison. One official told a reporter said there were 10K total today, outside the clean area, but we’re skeptical about that estimate. Here is a slightly tweaked version of the Medicare verbate I sent out earlier. **10:33:35 AM Like a lot of Americans, when I think about Medicare it’s not just a program, its...

So for those of you who don’t know me I posted at Free Republic as Dengar01 from September 15th 2001 till I opused and 2 months later after questioning the finances of Free Republic my account was zotted. When I first came up with the idea of this thread I emailed TBL, NOTA and a close friend here for their opinions. I then expanded to email some ex-FReepers who were run off the site by some of the most vile creatures on the planet. Some who made up handle’s at TBL to continue their cult like obsession. Videos ......VAN SUSTEREN: So, is Speaker Gingrich right or are questions like these fair game? Back with Karl Rove. Karl, you know, I sort of, when you watch someone else do it, another member of the media, you sort of cringe a little bit. I’m sure I’m guilty myself of doing that, but Speaker Gingrich certainly didn’t think that was the most important question going into Super Tuesday. But is it a fair question of the Speaker? KARL ROVE: Well, God bless Speaker Gingrich for taking David Gregory out behind the barn and giving him a whooping..................................................................... VAN SUSTEREN: Well,...

Rick Santorum’s trio of victories ...is shifting the Republican presidential contest into a state-by-state fight for delegates that could last much longer than initially anticipated. The battle appears to be breaking down along regional lines, with Santorum gaining momentum in the Midwest, Newt Gingrich resonating in the South and Mitt Romney faring best in the Northeast and elsewhere... For now, all four candidates are on a hunt for delegates, each with an incentive to stay in through the next several contests. Gingrich and Ron Paul were already pledging to stay in the race for the long haul, and both have...

Graham said that what Gingrich did as Speaker back in the 90's while Bill Clinton was President was something to praise and appreciate. Graham was in the House while Gingrich was Speaker. This points out something to me. Truth is very important. It should be. For Santorum and Romney to cloudy the truth about Gingrich to garner votes is despicable. During the month of February, the Truth about Gingrich's legislative and conservative success will be clarified. Also, the Truth about Santorum's spotty success and spotty conservatism will be clarifies. Lindsay Graham has begun the Gingrich clarification.

Dear Greta, I remember you from your CNN days. I am also aware that your husband Mr. Coale is a dedicated Demcrat liberal and you have been a loyal wife in co-hosting Democratic fund raisers with him. I do admire your ethics in not having posed as a conservative in your Fox News show. In fact I actually have scrutinized your interviews and would be hard-put to point out any unfairness on your part. Having said the above; I feel certain that your email basket is loaded on a daily basis and it is nearly impossible to even browse the...

Allen West, in discussing what the Republican Party needs to do to get black voters into the Republican party, was asked which presidential candidate has the conservative principles to help turn the tide of high unemployment in the black community, and he was quick to point out that despite those on the left accusing Newt of race-baiting, he believes that Newt is the one who is diagnosing the problem well and is trying to open a dialogue with the black community by offering to speak before the NAACP.

We Stand for Principle Over Politicsand the Establishment Can't Stand It December 21, 2011 BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: "House Democrats tried Wednesday to force a vote on the Senate’s two-month extension of the payroll-tax cut, but Republicans gaveled the House closed to prevent them from having a chance, as top GOP leaders huddled down the hall to try to figure a way out of the mess. GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: "The Rodney Dangerfield of Republican politics," not getting any respect from Republican Party establishment? Well, that's what Mr. Herman Cain has called himself. But his view must have changed this view and a lot of other people when the Florida straw poll voters showed Mr. Herman Cain respect, big-time respect! In the straw poll in Florida over the weekend, Mr. Herman Cain clobbered the GOP front-runners, Governor Rick Perry and former governor Mitt Romney. It wasn't even close!

Check this picture out that The Daily Caller is spreading around on the internet. Tucker must be really proud tonight of his employee who doesn’t get what was wrong with his vile and disgusting posting and so is now, but posting this picture, suggesting my interview with Tyson was like his posting – trash. My interview was not trash. I actually know the difference. I interviewed Mike Tyson about his life and boxing. Frankly, in many years on the air, I have interviewed all sorts of people including murderers – what I have not done is used them as a...

I really don’t understand my friend Tucker Carlson. He owns the website The Daily Caller and it currently has on its front page the most vile story — referring to a sex act with Governor Sarah Palin as a “womb shifter.” It is even the headline. Do you know what that means? Figure it out It is really vile. It is not just smut…this is violence against women. The “womb shifter” reference reported in the story is only the tip of the ice berg in terms of the vile nature of the posting. I am sparing you the details. To...

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. I take it from -- a little bit from your discussion -- I don't mean to read into it. You can speak for yourself, obviously -- but that you -- that you are -- that you're pleased with at least with the field tonight or with the way that they answered. Is that correct? PALIN: Yes, I was pleased. I was very happy with it. Let me go back to that issue with Governor Perry. I was governor of Alaska at the time that that issue came down, and I told our health and human services...

I saw the GOP debate and the Greta interview with Palin and Bachman. I am absolutely against Perry's mandate of the Gardasil vaccine. On policy grounds. Period. But, to see the two ladies pile on with corruption charges against Perry was truly disgusting. If they have any proof that Perry mandated the vaccine to profit Merck, I am the first one who wants it. And, if proof emerges that he did so, I will be the first one to revoke my support for him. It happens in the industry all the time. Acquaintances get you an audience. So, in this...

Karl Rove responds to controversy over his speculation if Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin will indeed enter the GOP field. Rove said chances are she will jump in, but was not definitive in his observation. "I mystified," Rove said about his speculation. "Look, she is all upset about this saying how I am trying to sabatouge her in some way. How do I speculate on her future." "Look, if she doesn't want to be speculated about a potential presidential candidate there is an easy way to end the speculation. Simply say 'I'm not running.' Instead, every time she pops up in...

I did some research for my interview with Karl Rove for tonight’s ON THE RECORD at 10pm and I was surprised at all the recent articles about Karl Rove and Governor Palin. Apparently the other day he made a statement about whether she would be running or not — or whether he thought she would run or something like that — and the media went wild. He doesn’t know if she is running – only she does (and probably her family.) Anyone who cover politics or is fascinated by politics or recognizes the importance of politics, wants to know who...

I just read a very bizarre blog post about entrenched incumbent Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch by Fox News anchor Greta van Susteren and then watched an equally distressing interview van Susteren conducted last night with Sarah Palin regarding Hatch. First, the title of van Susteren’s blog post: “Is someone trying to manipulate the UTAH Tea Party vote unfairly away from Senator Orrin Hatch?” Van Susteren absurdly suggests that dark, sinister, unnamed, and uninformed forces in Utah with outside backing are somehow trying to take away Hatch’s seat through nefarious means. She’s clearly talking about D.C.-based fiscal conservative groups like FreedomWorks...

Make sure you tune in tomorrow night, Thursday, for Governor Sarah Palin at 10pm eastern, ON THE RECORD.
-
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, you know, I think -- it will be interesting to see what happens. The Tea Party, I think, had an enormous victory, because they did change the discussion here in Washington. It's a little bit like trying to change the direction of an aircraft carrier. It's not easy. So they certainly, I mean, that's huge. And I'm sort of curious whether the American people will now sort of take a bow, those who are Tea Party activists, and go back to their lives, which are very busy and very full, and they're worried about their own lives,...

It seems everyone has something to say about the debt crisis / Boehner / President Obama. I was just emailed by an FNC colleague Gov Palin’s Facebook posting ..so here it is: —– Lame Duck President by Sarah Palin on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 7:11pm After listening to the President’s press conference today, let’s keep in mind the following: This is the same president who proposed an absurdly irresponsible budget that would increase our debt by trillions of dollars, and whose party failed to even put forward a budget in over 800 days! This is the same president who...

Jim DeMint at his calm persuasive rational best tonight with Greta On The Record. Cut, Cap and Balance would actually have a chance if all of the Republican Senators would get off their behinds and get behind a full-court PR offensive. The conservative Senators are taking the lead--Thune, Sessions, DeMint, Kyl, Cornyn, Rubio, Paul. Do something for your country John McCain! Where are you Scott Brown? Hell even Graham and Hatch are giving it a go.

Family friend and fellow Fox News contributor Greta Van Susteren is the only journalist we've noticed that has much access of any kind to Sarah Palin's inner circle. And this morning Politico pointed to her surprising prediction on her blog: "First, I have absolutely no inside track (despite what some may think) but I am guessing Governor Sarah Palin is running for President in 2012." That seems like a pretty bold prediction for someone without any "inside track." But, despite Van Susteren's claim to the contrary, it does seem like she would be privy to the workings of a nascent...

First, I have absolutely no inside track (despite what some may think) but I am guessing Governor Sarah Palin is running for President in 2012. Basis for my guess ? First, she has never said no. In fact, she told me in an interview about 8 weeks ago, and this remark has been repeated by other journalists to her and by her, she has the “fire in her belly” interest in running. This is not a yes, and it is not a no but leans more in the yes direction. In that interview I tried to get a more definitive...

Make sure you tune in tonight to ON THE RECORD at 10pm to hear our interview with Governor Sarah Palin. What is is about Governor Sarah Palin and the media? Last night she was in DC to give a speech and thus could not attend the White House Correspondents Dinner. She DID go to two after parties to meet some people and catch up with her daughter Bristol who was in town for the dinner. But what is fascinating to watch is how the media (all of them!) just can't get enough of Governor Sarah Palin. They were all taking pictures of her with themselves for souvenirs and writing about her. She was prominent in the Washington Post coverage, Politico...

Last night, Governor Palin spoke at Heroic Media’s “Heroes Among Us” fundraiser dinner. As always, she defended the pro-life message and stressed the importance of having a culture that promotes the worth of all life–including the unborn. The Governor shared her own story and her daughter Bristol’s story, for they are examples of how to handle less than ideal circumstances. Being in attendance personally, I was able to witness again the respect that she receives by those who know that she not only talks the talk, but she has been walking this walk.
