She’s not going to last two rounds against him. I predict she bows out for health reasons.

There is only one reason at this point why Mr. Cruz is still in the race. Everyone can be assured he is not motivated by good intentions. The party insider$ have directed Mr. Cruz to stay in the race, as long as there is a glimmer of a chance the party can swindle the election and install yet another party insider into power.

Trump will beat her into physical and mental submission well in advance of the election date.

The only question that remains is how the media will spin her departure from the race.

Exactly. And even if Hillary! wins, a foregone conclusion if anyone besides Trump was running against her, she will be so weakened that even an idiot like Paul Ryan should be able to hand her her ample ass on a platter.

Both these Dem clowns are old and haggard looking. Trump is almost the same age but he’s full of energy. Like these imbeciles in LA with their Bern stickers will find out, he’s a loser in the end.

“The party insider$ have directed Mr. Cruz to stay in the race”

There is also the possibility that Cruz is staying in the race purely because of a GINORMOUS ego.

THIS. The Tedtanic has gone vertical, and he's still making plans. There's definitely a stench of Establishment GOPe RINO all over his campaign.

While the Cruz people were backslapping and high fiving each other a few weeks back because Ted Cruz was sending lawyers and operatives all over the country to "wrangle delegates" for a possible second ballot, Donald Trump kept his eye on the ball and concentrated on winning pledged delegates for the first ballot.

What the Cruz people didn't figure on is that this delegate wrangling process cuts both ways. Once we get past that first ballot, most delegates are unbound and can vote any way that they choose. They might say they are voting for Cruz today but may very well vote for Trump tomorrow should the circumstances change.

Well...the circumstances have changed. Where it was once plausible that both Trump and Cruz would straggle into Cleveland with essentially a tie in delegates, Trump is now 400+ delegates ahead and looks only to build on that lead further.

Worse case scenario, Trump will come into Cleveland with 1200+ and Cruz will be barely at 600. In that situation, even should Trump fall slightly short of 1237, he will only need a handful of delegate whereas Cruz will need 600+.

In the much ballyhooed 1976 contest where Reagan threatened Ford with a contested convention, only about 44 delegates separated them and both Ford and Reagan had 1,000+ delegates.

That will not be the case this year. Trump will be HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of delegates ahead of Cruz even if he doesn't hit the 1237. And with Trump's blowout victories over the past two weeks, it is now almost a certainty that he will win on the first ballot.

The Cruz people spent weeks chortling about their superior "ground game" but it was all smoke and mirrors. Just a bunch of political hacks trying to steal back on Saturdays through parlor tricks what they lost to the voters on Tuesdays. Their ground game got vaporized in the Northeast and the Deep South. It now looks like Trump is going to blow out the states on the West Coast.

One does not become president on the Prairie states alone.

Lyin' Ted is now transforming into Dyin' Ted. Cruz and the GOPe tried to pull off another delegate steal just yesterday in Massachusetts. But they got rejected in the most pathetic way.

Ted Cruz, the nation is wising up to you now.

I liked Trump from the beginning, but admittedly (and incorrectly) I assumed the anti-Trump movement would actually have an effect.

Whoa! Just read the story at the link you included.

Here's an excerpt:

The fact is, there are more of us than there are of them. Promoting al-fresco baptisms in the local creeks is not a way to build a majority, no matter what the voices in Ted Cruz’s head tell him. So my wife now heads to Cleveland with me. And no, we won’t be ducking any of her fellow delegates in the Cuyahoga River, no matter what his pet serpents tell Rafael et al. to do.

If they baptize people in the Cuyahoga, then Trump's definitely gonna win, because once you go under that water, you ain't comin' out alive! LOL!

Then the RATs will invoke the Torricelli Swicheroo with the “help” of the SCOTUS.
