Frankly, I am appalled that there are so many people who are proud of the fact the a ‘republican’ candidate is behaving like Hillary!. We really used to own the high road. So, as a former Cruz semi-supporter, I will now be for Trump. I was sickened, in 2008, when Huckabee and McCain screwed Romney for the nomination then. I am sickened now to see ‘republicans’ acting like democrats. Sleazy to the Nth degree.

Take your “King Trumpy” and bark it up another tree. As far as I’m concerned you’re just a hopeless GOPe smug ass confident in your entrenched party power. Take stock of it. Savor it. It is coming to an end.

You’re right. He understands the big picture, as well as the details. He’s got my vote.

“Shame on Ted Cruz for using internal state-level party loyalist insiders to help him to jigger the ‘rules’ to keep voters from voting.”

AFAIK the States have the right to use whatever method they want to pick delegates for their party conventions. If you don’t like it, get involved and change it. At bare minimum stop feeding the beast. All my political donations this year have been to individual candidates, not to the party apparatus.

A big question people should be asking is, “how did this sneak up on the Trump campaign?” I would assume that as an international businessman he has to make himself familiar with the local laws where he operates. If he cannot be bothered to pay attention to the process, can he be relied upon to accomplish what he’s promised to do?

I am still in favor of keeping the electoral college versus going with a total decision based on overall popular vote. To me the regional interests in our confederation of states, territories and possessions need to be maintained.

Giving just a handful of counties and cities in this country with MASSIVE, MASSIVE populations the advantage of numbers of votes cast over the rest of this wide varying country would destroy us, our character, and our heretofore existence as ‘America’.

“I hate to rain on your parade, but Cruz read the rulebook, and played by the rules, no matter how byzantine. . .”

1. But Ted Cruz is supposed to be different. As Limbaugh maintains, Cruz is an honorable man, completely honest, and can be depended on to do exactly what he says he will do. He is that much divine. He is supposed to be an outsider, one who upholds the Constitution against all odds. Accordingly, one would think that he would have ridden into the state demanding that the voice of the people should be heard, as opposed to inside deals that disenfranchised the voters. But he slithered in by stealth and used a corrupt system to his advantage.

2. Trump played by the rules when he ran his business. And for that, he has been excoriated by all the Cruzbots as completely impure. A horrible person in comparison to saintly Ted.

Go check and see how your “Tea Party” organizations spend their money. It certainly isn’t for actual candidates. You’re getting ripped off from your money by a bunch of conniving self-interested scammers.

>> What made him entitled to all the votes? <<

You must understand this:

Any rules that put Mr. Trump at a disadvantage are bad, nasty and corrupt. They should not be followed. No further discussion is warranted.

I could post some of Cruz that aren’t flattering but I won’t. What I will tell you is that this depiction certainly does scream “King” out to me at all. If it does to you, then you definitely have a screw loose, or it is too early in the morning for you to be drinking heavily.

A similar process gave us Abraham Lincoln. Of course since public schools quit teaching history years ago few will know that.

“Hail King Trumpy. King Trumpy will levy taxes on whomever King Trumpy decides. King Trumpy is wise. King Trumpy is better than a constitution. Hail King Trumpy!”

Dude, you are being annoying, liked your music video though.
