Being a citizen and being a natural born citizen are two different issues. Ted is not a NBC.

The founding father’s were very leery of anyone foreign born being President or Vice president. That has nothing to do with “Citizenship”. Discussions In the lexicon of the time , the opposite os “ foreign born” was “Natural Born” . The term was well used in that context. It did not mean “natural non cesarean birth” . It meant that as to the highest office ,i.e. the Presidency one could absolutely not be born outside the soil of our beloved country. This intent was to heighten our sovereignty for our highest office .
Please do not confuse “citizenship” with “Natural Born”. They are apples and oranges.
As stated by many here repeatedly, it is an absolute fact that Crus wac NOT born on our soil as required in Article II and Section 1 of the United States Constitution. He is not eligible to hold the office.
Let me demonstrate how it becomes crystal clear in the wording of the Constitution iself.
“Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution states: “No Person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President.” The original structure of the Constitution does suggest that “natural born” was meant to contain a geographic component of birth in the United States. The “Inhabitant” requirements for senators and representatives in Article I of the Constitution clearly were intended to be geographic. Now notice that if the founding fathers intended that a “citizen” was all that was required, the “geographic qualifier” would not have been used. In other words , it would have merely states “Citizen”. It did not merely state “citizen” There was an important geographic qualifier to absolutely preclude eligibility for a foreign born citizen.
I hope this clears up the issue for you so you will no longer be confused. This issue must go to Scotus but that will take years. The Democrats will enjoin any candidacy of foreign born Republican with absolutely certainty.
If you aren’t naturalized you don’t need citizenship papers.
He just needs to get a copy of photoshop and he can make one in just a few hours. Just be sure that he flattens the file to hide the layering. Otherwise the Cold Case Posse might get suspicious.
It's no big deal. Cruz will push for the creation of the North American Union, the USA and its Constitution will be dissolved, and his citizenship will become a non-issue.

The guy is a constitutional attorney, he should know.....If he had any doubt he should have settled it before he ran....
Don’t like the guy...he’s a used car salesman in my opinion but unless there is a realistic court challenge I would accept that he is legal....

No, because one born out of the country to an American citizen is a citizen of the US at birth...a natural born citizen.
He never had to be naturalized because he was a citizen at birth...what part of that do you need assistance with. That is the law, it has been the law since the first congress, and it comports with the Constitution.

No it isn’t settled. Look up the 1970 SCOTUS decision of Rogers vs Bellei. Bellei’s birth circumstances are an EXACT proxy for Ted Cruz, and he was stripped of his US citizenship for failing to comply with certain aspects of the citizenship statute that he was naturalized under. No natural born citizen could be shorn of his citizenship in that manner.
Ted Cruz is a US citizen by statute IF his mother filed a Counsular Report of Birth Abroad in accordance with the Immigration Act of 1952 in a timely manner, and that documentation has not been produced to date.
He too, like Obama may be an illegal alien.
