Glen Beck is a nut. I wish Cruz didn’t have him around.

Trump is almost as big of a nut as Beck and ten times more liberal.

Ill still stick with supporting Cruz eveen though he isn’t perfect.

At NO time did Cruz say Trump or anyone else was responsible.

I must respectfully disagree.

As an hypothetical, suppose Trump's words really are pushing thugs towards actual violence, as Cruz suggests. Then I would submit that the problem lies not with Trump's words, but with how thin-skinned and hyper-sensitive the thugs are.

Thanks to Trumps stupidity, the other guys are going to have to deal with even more of this crap from BLM.

To tell you the truth, I wish Trump would stop being so PC, and just come right out with what we're really dealing with, which is actual WAR being made upon the rightful owners of the USA.

Cut the namby-pamby crap and call it what it is. The other side tells us in a thousand different ways, every stinking day, that THEY WANT US DEAD, and you sit there blaming this state of affairs on a political candidate who's got the stones to actually stand up to the horde?

Shut up with that nonsense! Read Free Republic, for God's sake! Years, and years, and years, and years, of thousands upon thousands, upon thousands of posts and pages, all filled with the evidence against the enemies of the republic. I don't even need to present a case. You're sitting square in the middle of it!

Trump leads the race because he communicates what Americans are thinking about the life and death issues of our time. That's the real reason the left wing maggots spoiled his event tonight. They know he's a threat to their comfy way of life, and will burn and pillage as their masters tell them to, to keep it.

In earlier times, an event like tonight's would have sparked a civil war - what with the tensions as wound up in this country the way they are. Part of me thinks maybe they really should have.

I believe the truth has been posted about 20 times on this thread.

People have heard what Cruz said and excuses and villification of those people will not change their opinion of Ted’s remarks.

Here is the issue. Many non-political people have seen Trump make statements about punching protesters in the mouth etc.

Then they see these thugs show up.

In their minds both are at fault. Not saying I agree.

Can you imagine if these guys had done this at a Carson rally? Carson would have probably got every vote in the country.

Again I am NOT siding with the protesters I am trying to raise the level of the candidates behavior.

” What will he say when the protesters go to his rallies? “

I don’t believe they will go to Cruz rallies. Cruz poses absolutely no threat to them.

The globe dreads TRUMP.

Nobody dreads Cruz but his friends.

So at 1:22 when he says “...but in a campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively promotes violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this type of discord.”

Who was he talking about there? Particularly with the last comment who could only be referring to one candidate.

You have to understand the reason Cruz completely threw Trump under the bus is he not campaigning for the conservative vote any longer. He’s looking completely at the “anti-Trump” GOP voters. Yesterday was the low-info insult, today the Chicago stuff and tomorrow it will be something else.

The man is a greasy career politician looking out for #1. It couldn’t be more clear.

What about the David Duke backing? How does that make you ferl?

Trump asked the GOP to back him. He wants the Bushes support. What does that say about him?

Which members of David Dukes outfit is working on Trumps campaign? And geez... didn’t Trump reject that “backing” not once, not twice, but 3,4,5 times? Does Ted have Bush people working on his campaign? Did Ted “I’m not establishment” Cruz meet with Bush, Romney, and Rubio? You’re comparing rhetoric with real-life...and losing.

If you are going to bang-up Trump then what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Ted is in league with a sick, violent nut who exposes murder & Ted will not walk that back.

You talkin to me? Why change the subject?

Ted Cruz is responding to Donald Trump's cancellation of his Chicago rally, saying the billionaire has created "an environment that encourages this sort of nasty discourse......Political discourse should occur in this country without the threat of violence, without anger and rage and hatred directed at each other.[scroll down to 10 PM]
