MANCHESTER, New Hampshire -- Mark Campbell, national political director for the Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% campaign, tells Breitbart News Cruz's victory in the Iowa caucuses Monday can be replicated in the New Hampshire primary next week.

Campbell was among a dozen die-hard Cruz campaign workers and volunteers on hand at the Cruz New Hampshire headquarters in Manchester when Breitbart News arrived at 11:30 pm Monday night.

Ted Cruz's victory speech was playing on a super-sized big screen television as the weary but happy team listened in rapt attention.

"You should have been here an hour ago," Campbell told Breitbart News. "The place was packed."

Campbell has been camped out in New Hampshire for several months and was beaming with confidence about the chances for victory in the Granite State's primary next Tuesday.

"We're the only campaign that has a ground game in the state," he told Breitbart News.

Cruz's convincing victory Monday night in the Iowa caucuses...

Nice to have confidence, but bragging rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Stick to the issues and let the chips fall where they may.

So I guess constitutional conservatives are just going to be expected to vote for the candidate that is clearly constitutionally ineligible to be POTUS? I swore an oath to protect and defend the constitution but I’ll be expected to break that oath for Ted Cruz? I don’t think so.

Can..is not will, so yes Cruz can do it, if they do will be up to the voters in NH. I hope so myself but NH is a bit on the left side of things often.

If that was true, Trump would be in last place.

Are you making fun of Christianity?
They can. Their ground game is as good as Iowa and they have lots of locals involved as in Iowa. GOP are tired of DT attacking conservatives. Wait til you see the new round of anti Trump ads using his own own words out of his own mouth.
In NH Cruz beats DT head to head and 20% say they will never vote for DT.
Cruz may not win. But he can and DT isn’t going to roll over him.

I’m not so sure, Cruz hasn’t spent a year tramping around NH, and NH isn’t nearly as evangelical. I wouldn’t doubt it if IA goes give Cruz a boost in NH, and Rubio will get a boost as well. The huge lead held by Trump in the last poll will drop accordingly, but I still think Trump will win NH.

You really think there aren’t a lot of voters turned off by Trump. Those few occasions he has spoken to an issue, he always starts off with the word : I and it is exactly what bugs me about the man.

I'm a big Cruz backer, but the northeast is on the left politically. A real conservative won't do really well there and Cruz is the only consistent conservative running. I would expect Trump to do well in NH. His NY values are more in line with NH.

SC will be where we see whether Cruz can beat Trump. If the south falls for the faux conservative from NY there's not going to be much hope of winning in Nov.

Yep, keep believing Cruz is ineligible. If he wasn’t, he would never have spent the last 3 years preparing for this. Someone along the way would have told him he wasn’t eligible. Maybe Dershowitz, or Levin, or maybe even someone with a bit more knowledge about this, like Scalia.

Let me guess. No one will say a word about this and if he becomes the nominee, then they will take it to court. Does that sound about right?

I tend to agree. The momentum is away from Trump now, but his poll numbers were very high; I don’t know that such a large lead can be overcome with 7 days of momentum. And as much as I like Cruz, I’m skeptical that the high-cost high-effort Iowa approach can be bottled and sold elsewhere.

I hope the Cruz camp is confident rather than cocky, because we all know what pride goeth before. Just ask Trump.

You’re kidding yourself - are you really going to wait until October to find out and screw everyone over? The irony is so lost on you guys. The great constitutionalist wont take care to demonstrate that he’s eligible under the Constitution.

Some of us actually research the issues before we jump into them. A NBC of the United States has to be born in the United States. I don’t care if you believe it or not. I know it’s true and because I know it’s true, I can’t vote for Ted Cruz. I’m not going to break a sworn oath for Ted Cruz and I’m not going to defend the second amendment based on original intent but ignore original intent for ARTICLE II, SECTION I, CLAUSE 5. You can do whatever you want. I’m not doing it and I’m a little POd that I’m being put in this position.
