I’m no expert, but it’s my perception that some mass shooters are mentally ill and some are simply evil. If there’s no evidence of previous mental illness, I’m inclined to believe the “evil” motive.
The campus is nearby and the campus officer was one of the first to respond. Shooting began outside in a parking lot. Perp entered PP later and according to reports did not harm staff or patients- yet the liberal media and even the stupid mayor is pushing the narrative that suits their politics.
Not at all! I always appreciate hearing local views when we’re trying to figure these things out. All we can do is report what we’ve heard or seen.

Registering to vote is odd, isn’t it? This man sounds unwell and often incoherent, yet he got it together enough to plan some kind of attack and made time to register to vote. Not being a psychiatrist it’s hard to know how mental mechanisms work when someone is planning horrible deeds. It seems this “weirdness” isn’t new; Carolina neighbors mentioned it too.
Well, the first thing I would look at is that parking lot...
What else it there besides the clinic?
If only the Clinic, then who did he have a altercation with in the lot? Did that result in the civilian deaths?
What would make sense to me is that when campus police arrived on the seen because of a "shots fired report" did the perp simply seek cover at PP, being the nearest bldg..perhaps they had him blocked from returning to his car.M
That would make sense to me..and would explain why he did not hurt any of the PP patients, or staff.

I saw one man on the news who was shot at while in his car in the parking lot- seemingly at random, The police arrived and the perp was hiding behind PP at first according to news reports. There is a Chase bank, a nail salon, and I heard someone was shot outside an optical store. Also a big supermarket where over a hundred people sheltered in place for hours, and maybe shooting in that parking lot as well. Not much info released.

yeah.......but I am more inclined to think that this incident was more personal and may not have been a mass shooting..
In other words, he had a target and a motive.
Mass shooters kill everybody and anyone and then usually themselves.
Well, that’s whacky. Although it COULD be just incorrect data input, or human mistake. Or someone entirely different.
Yeah.....they are either sitting on the info, or really don’t understand it yet..
I am inclined to wait and see what they come up with. Apparently the guy must not be talking, or perhaps he in incoherent.
Daily Mail had photo of the guy he shot at in the parking lot. It started there it seems?
He could have been automatically registered to vote when he got his driver’s license, if CO. does what many other states do.
I am an RN who worked in a forensic mental hospital so I have some perspective. He appears mentally ill and the stories of his rambling incoherent speech and lack of a social footprint add weight to this possibility. Unknown if he was being treated, and prescribed meds and if he was taking them. Actively psychotic schizophrenics are usually disorganized and not good at planning, but we don’t know his history so it is hard to say.
Well, well... I just knew the kitties were nearby. ;^)
Or the other option, what he is telling them doesn’t help the theme he planed to attack PP.

I hate the term “Shelter in place”. When did that become a phrase anyway?
Might as well use “stay still until you can be found and killed”.
Thanks for background. I’m betting he resists meds to keep him functional, the few people I’ve known with complex psych diagnoses rarely complied with med prescriptions.
Not sure why this case has grabbed my attention, but it has.
