A man caught on camera shooting a young buck with a bow and arrow in Monrovia has sparked outrage among residents. A video taken Thursday afternoon shows Mike Rodriguez taking aim at a young buck. The deer runs down the street, leaving a trail of blood. Moments later, the animal died. “I couldn’t believe it. I’m like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’ Somebody took a shot at a deer right in front of our house in a residential neighborhood?” neighbor Chuck Tapert said. Rodriguez came forward to identify himself as the man in the video. He defends his actions,...

The liberals were quick to blame conservative Christians, Republicans, and others on the right for the carnage in the Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic. It turns out the killer was a paranoid pothead who probably moved to Colorado because it offered him plenty of legal weed. The murders were just the latest example of President Obama's pro-pot policies causing "active shooter" cases in which innocent people get maimed and killed. While "progressives" hope to capitalize on the killings by stopping investigations into Planned Parenthood, the case of Robert Lewis Dear has backfired on them in more ways than one. Dear, who...

He seemed to have a separate life online. An online personals ad seeking women in North Carolina interested in bondage and sadomasochistic sex showed a picture that appeared to be Mr. Dear and used an online pseudonym associated with him. The same user also appeared to have turned to online message boards to seek companions in the Asheville area with whom he could smoke marijuana. On Cannabis.com, the writer said in December 2005: "AIDS, hurricanes, we are in the end times."

Dear Abby, My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning, and, when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows that he cheats on me. It is so humiliating. Also, since he lost his job six years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, cruise around and shoot the bull with his buddies, while I have to work to pay the bills. Since our daughter went away to college he doesn't even pretend to like me, and even hints that...

Call it "Bambi" on the bridge. Reports of a pair of deer hanging out on the Golden Gate Bridge Friday evening sent social media abuzz in the Bay Area. California Highway Patrol officers were called to the bridge, but the deer were already gone by the time they got there. Twitter users reported that traffic stopped moving momentarily, but was soon flowing normally again. "It was Deer on the Golden Gate Bridge! Hope they are safe! Kind of awesome!" tweeted out Twitter user Rydalia with a picture, which has since gone viral. This video shot by NBC Bay Area viewer...

But don't feel too bad. It's not you, it's me. Or rather, it's the TSA. I'm not going to lie. It's come between us. If I have to let someone else see me naked in order to be with you--well, I'm just not that kinky. And deep down, I don't think you are either. I think it's the TSA making you act like this. Frankly, you haven't been the same since you started running around together. But I can't put all the blame on them. I think you went along because you thought I had to have you--that I couldn't...

Dear Democrats, The poverty you've spread is heartbreaking. On Thursday, at the freeway exit, one of my customers who is learning disable, yet still able to work, is standing there holding a sign begging for money. Yes, she's overweight, usually shy, but I find it hard to believe you've made things worse than when you cried about how bad the economy was when Bush was President. You lied. You lie. You continue to lie. You lie. And you deny economic policies that would create more jobs. John McCain's economic plan was quite an improvement over yours, yet the media omitted...

(IsraelNN.com) Iranian anti-regime activists are hoping for an Israeli technological hand to help them fight the Islamic Republic. As of now, hundreds of protesters have been killed by the regime, which is evidently using Arabic-speaking armed thugs from Hizbullah to help perpetrate the violence. "Dear Israeli Brothers and Sisters," writes Iranian dissident Arash Irandoost, "Iran needs your help more than ever now. And we will be eternally grateful

A mysterious sighting in Washington County has area officials and residents bewildered, bemused and amused. A man contracted by the Department of Natural Resources to pick up road kill came to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department to report a 7-foot-tall “animal” had taken a deer out of the back of his pickup truck at about 1 a.m. Thursday, Sheriff Brian Rahn said. According to the report, the man loaded a deer carcass into the back of his truck on Highway 167 near Station Way, got into the cab and prepared to drive away when a large black animal, very wide...

SHREDDED REVIEWSThe CBS News panel that performed the independent review of the "60 Minutes Wednesday" report on President George Bush's National Guard record destroyed almost all of the working drafts of the report that former Attorney General Dick Thornburgh and former Associated Press President Louis Boccardi worked on and reviewed over the past six weeks. Those drafts would be interesting to review, if only to see the evolution of positions the pair took on the forged documents, as well as the varying stories presented by the four CBS employees identified by Thornburgh and Boccardi as the key individuals in the...

'His way,' exposed Sunday, January 16, 2005 WASHINGTON -- The adage about these being "the best of times and the worst of times" could not be truer as we await the second inauguration on Thursday of President George W. Bush. We read in the papers about the destruction of wonderful coastal villages and towns in Asia together with a mind-shattering loss of lives by a series of tsunamis. Then we read moronic nonsense of how the Democrats in Congress attempted to derail the electoral results in Ohio and deny Bush the presidency using a 1877 ruling. On the positive side,...
