Wow.
That’s real pretty.
Meh. We’re dealing with it in South-Central Wisconsin. Got most of it cleared, already.
It’s going to be near 50 by Thursday. We’ll live to shovel another day! ;)
No, no!
Warmest month EVER, we’ve been told so!
( Do I really need a sarc tag? )
I have never understood just how South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois got to be classified as “midwestern states”, as when you look at a map they actually are in the central US.
I know, the regions were created by the east coast ruling class based purely on an eastern perspective, but it still urks me.
Wow!
Agree...If there is a midwest U.S., is there also a mideast U.S.?
From my perspective there are 3 parts, the west-coast , central, and east-coast U.S.
Lake Geneva, Wi...about 6 in I think. It’s wet, heavy snow and turning to brown slush fast.
This is impossible. 2015 is the hottest year on record. The UN says so, so it must be true.
I enjoy the snow on post cards. Supposed to be sunny, 85 degrees, clear, with a mild off shore Santana breeze in S.CA. We’ll just tough it out here!
When I add ice to my Margarita this afternoon, I’ll be thinking about them.
We have about 4 inches to your east but nothing sticking to the pavement yet.
I barely used my A/C this past summer.
I had a learning curve too on acreage with the snow and a gravel driveway (that goes up over 200’ and is very long). Whenever you can get by without plowing don’t - if you have gravel you eventually scrape it all off the road if you are overzealous - anything including pavement can be damaged from plowing. Quick chains for your SUV are good (take them off before you get on the road - not too bad to put on. Good snow and ice tires are worth their weight in gold.
Sometimes I gamble and don’t plow and regret it. Sometimes I plow and it melts in days and I regret it.
Still better than subdivision living! Unsolicited advice - enjoy your place and check out building a good greenhouse! The warm air in there even in the cold of winter is always nice (as are winter fresh vegetables).
You may want to check out getting a snowport plow for your SUV. We also have a Gator and love it, but that is a long driveway!
I’m in Florida...........I need a fan and some new flip-flops.............
One of my neighbors is from Monroe, MI. Her sister told her that they might have heavy snow this afternoon. They postponed a visit to a friend who is in Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit until Mon.
Just look at all that snow outside..............oh, wait, that's sand...............sorry..............B^)
DAMN GLOBAL WARMING! YOU RIGHT WINGERS WILL KILL US!
Yeah, but without Globull Warming, we’d really be freezing.
I’m in Chelsea, about 12 miles west of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fluffy snow, at least 3 or 4 inches so far, and its not letting up.
Minneapolis enjoying a green Thanksgiving. Not a flake there this week.
