Here’s Why Donald Trump Is the ‘Mean Girl’ of the GOP
The Fiscal Times ^ | October 6, 2015 | Rob Garver

Posted on 10/06/2015 10:44:38 AM PDT by EveningStar

Donald Trump at this point is probably just days away from calling Papa John’s and ordering a dozen pizzas to be delivered to the headquarters of each of his rivals for the GOP presidential nomination – with a promise of payment in cash, of course.

Trump’s presidential campaign looks increasingly like a piece of performance art designed to gauge the Republican voter base’s tolerance for a candidate utterly divorced from the idea that a presidential election is a serious national conversation about policy ...

Pause for a moment and consider that the man currently in the lead in the race to be a major party nominee for president is running a campaign that counts Middle School-level taunting as a useful tactic ...

We have an immigration and tax policy, seems serious.
Where are the other candidates position papers?

“Eventually, Republican voters are going to have to consider the possibility that under President Trump, the day might come when the red phone in the Kremlin rings, and a stressed out army colonel answers it to hear someone with a New York accent ask, “Is your refrigerator running?”

************************************************************

When a writer uses that for clinching his entire article, and it was evidently his best, it just means he had nothing to say, whatsoever.

Lighten up Francis.

This is why NONE of the GOPe canidates are gaining any traction. Who wants a bunch of self important twits with messianic complexes running things? We tried that the last 8 years, how has that been working for you?

It’s important that the Kremlin’s fridge is running. The Donald will send Vlad a couple of cases of Water.

And how does that differ from 30 years of Clinton/Obama/ Alinsky tactics? Those tactics put 3 horrible candidates in national offices.

I’ll tell you how: for all his faults, Trump actually loves America and would like to see her thrive.

” a presidential election is a serious national conversation about policy ...”

Well its supposed to be since its not shaping up that way Trump is pranking the losers out of the campaign. Then he can get on with the serious job of winning the general election.

Really? He’s had 3 serious policy papers: immigration, 2nd amendment & taxes.

Personally, at this point, I like a candidate who will “take the gloves off” and be a little mean .... certainly preferable to the wusses and squishes that the GOPe has up for the position. Somebody big & bold who is not afraid to make people angry (like the Left) is what is needed to turn around Obama’s destructive EO’s, rules, regs, policies & laws. The only one close to Trump on this is Cruz.

It’s funny how they never have anything bad to say about the current executive anus in the white house. They can’t even talk bad about Hillary. I would take Trump over both of those media darlings. He has more brains then the two of them combined.

Whose accent? Trumps? I have watched “This Old House” so much that I now like a Boston accent.

Well I personally thinks it’s funny....I like what Trump does...

Is he a bully, probably could be, but so what...we have had a sissy in the White House for how long now?

I like the freshness of Trump, the ‘never know what he’s going to do or say’ attitude...

And the sound of ‘President Donald J. Trump’ is the best music to my ears!!!

The leftists of the Democrats, the GOP-e, and the media have tried to bring down Trump with Alinsky tactics, and it has all blown up in their faces. Americans seem to be done with the communist BS. Maybe.

* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

Sorry Rob [Garver], but your slip is showing.

This sort of prank is played all the time by grown men. Generally it's done between two friends. It's hilarious, and the only thing more hilarious, is watching folks who haven't seen this sort of thing before, express their frustration at seeing it for the first time.

What Trump exhibits here is a young mind. This is a college level prank tactic. What's wrong with that? LOL Seriously folks, get a grip!

As for him being the "mean girl", look at the butch tactic your comment represents. You're acting the part of a jealous female in the room. Seriously! And yet you didn't know it.

Trump isn't just running circles around you folks, he is running decades ahead of you intellectually. Grow up.

Find something of significance to pout about. Change your underwear. Get comfortable again.

An article like this should focus on something the candidate did wrong, rather than out the writer as a social stunted misfit.

Right, because he didn't issue an immigration policy and he didn't issue a tax policy and he didn't issue a 2nd amendment policy... oh, wait, he did issue all those... which makes the author of this piece a what? A sphincter?
