I'm getting pretty tired of this line and I'd like to point out how ridiculous it actually is, by way of analogy.
Ever been on the highway? Ever notice all those folks going over the speed limit? (I'm one of them, by the way.)
Imagine if the govt broadcast "We can't possibly pull over millions of speeders every day!" and, to top it off, make good on not doing it.
I believe you'd be seeing a lot more speeders on the road. Especially if they never see anyone getting pulled over for it.
Since it is actually true that there are not enough resources to pull over everyone, what the govt does instead is:
1) pull over who they can, limited by resources.
2) occasionally broadcast public service announcements such as "We're going to step up enforcement of speeding this holiday weekend..."
But what do they do for illegal immigration is -
1) Broadcast "We Can't Possibly Deport Millions of Illegals..."
How stupid can you be? It's really no wonder folks stream in.
If this was only broadcast on the democrat side of politics, it'd just be another ridiculous leftist argument.
But since the repub majority adds their voice to the choir, it becomes a ridiculous form of government.

George Will, writing for the NRO, says that the 11 million is 94 times the 117,000 Japanese rounded up by FDR. Will even went so far as to suggest that these deportations are against the spirit of limited government.
I think you are swinging in @n existential tree of illogical leaves.
Finding them after the illegal aliens are given, by our own "government," housing after distributing them nationwide, and then shipping them back home is real deportation.
That hasn't even started yet.
No matter how much the deportation process costs, it will be a fraction of the cost of supporting them (or the vast majority of them) and their progeny as charity cases forever!

Shut off the employment, and they will self-deport. Fining employers a $1,000 a day for all “undocumented” employees should speed up the process.

My position has never changed: Elect a leader that promotes a change from the status quo and is not a political insider...i.e., elect outsiders and non-incumbents.
For now, he fits that mold. Cruz does, too, bit for whatever reason, he’s not in the game. We HAVE to win this one.

The answer is for the most part both parties support illegal immigration.
Yes and if the border was actually secured we could rapidly start making a dent in the illegal population in this country.
It could happen much faster than you think. If the border is secured, then step up strict enforcement of all immigration laws. At this point those being deported are not simply coming back so the deportation numbers are actually reducing the population here. When the illegals realize they can no longer work, access services, and if they are arrested they will be deported a large number will simply begin to go back on their own. It is not a fantasy and there would be no need to actually deport each one, for everyone deported many would just leave. They poured in here because we put out the welcome mat, if we pull up the mat they will pour out.
Basically what I said only you’re trying to say a lifelong liberal we should put no trust in is going to do it.
What current Rep candidate aside from Trump has promised to deport the lawbreakers?
We have tried electing life long Republicans that we should be able to trust that say they will address the issue then don’t and allow it to get much worse under their watch.
At this point we have little to lose. We could elect Jeb Bush who says he will fix the immigration policy and then he will actually have an open border policy and create more programs to welcome them here.
I think the reason Trump is doing so well in the polls is precisely because the lifelong Republicans have proven they will not do what they say when we elect them. Truth is we take as big of a chance voting for a lifelong Republican that from experience we should put no trust in.
Almost all of the Republicans are saying we should have enforcement on the border and the laws pertaining to immigration.
Deportation is included in that enforcement.
We just currently have a lawless President who’s ordering those laws not be enforced.
Republican doesn’t mean conservative.
Democrat means liberal, or better yet bolsheviks.
Trump is a lifelong liberal who identifies as having some views as a democrat still. He’s donated between 100k - 250k to the Clinton foundation. Trump supported the Democrats in the race that got us the goons who pushed upon us Obama care. Etc. etc. etc.
He’s not solid in standing with the Republicans and it would appear that he’s just the right guy to insure the DNC get another 4-8 years.
People want to tell those who vet out candidates and include Trump in that vetting, that we’re wrong in bringing up the past and even recent history that points to him not having any real convictions” because he’s just a business man”. He’s a business man who hails from liberal background, that’s praised the Clintons, Obama etc., that donated to Blogoyavich, Rahm Emanuel, the Clintons, who’s gun views support ‘assault’ weapons bans yet is marketing himself as a conservative currently.
His current ramblings is just rehashing and repeating conservative blog talking points like a parrot.
Don’t put words in my mouth, I did not say he is going to do it.
What I am saying is we take a chance either way. Republicans have done nothing in the past many years to convince me there is any advantage to voting for a lifelong Republican.
I am not even close to deciding who to vote for at this point. Just saying first of all I would have to believe the person would be capable of accomplishing what they promise, then I would have to believe they would indeed do what they say. In this regard from past experience I would give no additional weight to a candidate simply because they are a lifelong Republican.

Walker has been a great Governor, Cruz rocks, I’ve liked him since his filibuster attempt against Obamacare.

Also when it comes to immigration, do you not recall the DHS funding filibuster at the beginning of the year the Democrats pulled because Republicans wanted to get rid of Obama’s executive orders on immigration?
It seems you forget there’s more than just Republicans up there and they have to battle and work with unfortunately, snakes.
The Republicans for the most part are not solid in standing with me right now. Far from it.
Their pattern for the past several years is to run as a conservative, then when elected most- yes MOST move to the left side with the Democrats instead of standing up to them. Worse than that they openly insult conservatives. Then they expect us to vote for them.
I refuse to vote for someone just because they have an R next to their name, and I don't care how long they have had that R next to their name. They will have to do more than that to get my vote.
The problem with Republicans running as conservative and then not living up to that goes back much farther than that.
The first President Bush did not stand up to the Democrats, it has been downhill from there. Over and over most Republicans elected to Congress and both Bushes ran as conservatives and then moved left. The Republicans as a party began to gradually shift left and now they are pretty far left to begin with. What do they say when they lose an election? The so called experts say they didn’t go far enough left. Look what happens when a Republican is elected as a conservative and then does try to live up to it after being elected? Their own party treats them like the crazy aunt. Ask Senator Rubio, ask Senator Cruz.
