Donald Trump is blowing everyone else out of the water in 2 key states (Poll: NH 35% and SC 30% )

Donald Trump is dominating in two key early-primary states, according to new polls of the states released Tuesday.

A new Public Policy Polling poll of Republican primary voters in New Hampshire found that the real-estate mogul is far ahead of the competition, with 35% saying that they would vote for Trump if the primary were held today.

The closest opponent was Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), who garnered 11%.

"This is by far the best we’ve found Donald Trump doing anywhere during his entire surge,” Dean Debnam, the president of Public Policy Polling...

The results were similar to a Monmouth University poll of South Carolina Republican primary voters, which showed Trump leading the pack with 30% of the vote. He was trailed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who clocked in at a distant second with 15%.

New Hampshire and South Carolina are the first two primary states, taking place after the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. They are generally seen as crucial states...

Trump took a victory lap on Twitter following the release of the new polls. He also took a shot at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a fellow candidate with whom he has been in an ongoing feud:

Congrats @LindseyGrahamSC. You just got 4 points in your home state of SC—far better than zero nationally. You’re only 26 pts behind me. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 25, 2015

But even that theory appears to be crumbling, at least in New Hampshire.

According to the PPP poll, Trump would trounce his rivals in head-to-head matchups. The survey found that Trump beat out Carson by 8 points, Walker by 18%, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) by 19%, and Bush by 23%.

I have no problem at all with his money.

But to say he is not part of the establishment himself is laughable.

If you want an outsider scorned by the establishment, Trump is not your man. Cruz fits that bill IMHO.

Could peak too soon.

LoL not hardly. Trump strength is as deep as it is wide.

I remember in 2012. First it was Michele Bachmann, then Rick Perry, then Herman Cain, then Newt Gingrich...

These guys don't compare; their support was as deep as Saran wrap.

he IS peaking. The election is a year long campaign and it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

oh my the best part of those head to heads is that Bush loses big to Trump. Big. I would have Trump over Bush any day of the week. And Trump over any Democrat 24x7.

Having a jillion dollars tends to make one a suck-up target.

Having a jillion dollars tends to free one to be very choosy.

Watch Trump peak, and peak again, and peak again. How much peaking will be too much peaking?

Ronaldus Maximus was the greatest President of the 20th century, but his labors pale against those faced by Donaldus Maximus.

Ronaldus followed the feckless, stupid, one-term Jimmy Carter, the third worst president in US history..

Donaldus will follow Obama.

I like Cruz. No argument with you there.

In fact, I have no argument with you at all. The great thing about supporting Trump is I can relax. To paraphrase the Lost dude who sold shwag to Larry David: I don’t need to sell Trump, Trump will sell himself.

Anyway, dump on Trump. I don’t care. Get in line, though, you’re not the first and won’t be the last.

Pardon me, though, while I bask in the glow of his rising poll numbers and don’t jump up to argue with you.

This is a different kind of election. Every single day the foreign invasion pours across the border. Until Trump broke all the rules, career politicians weren’t even allowed to mention that illegals are raping and killing us. Trump paid a swift and steep price, but he stood his ground.

Trump has promised to secure our borders. He did so earlier and more convincingly than any other viable candidate [the only one I’m excluding is Santorum].

At this rate, Trump won’t peak until election day.

Problem is Trump has done nothing to advance the conservative cause over the years.

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact, the opposite is true.

Proof?

“Trump is no conservative panacea. Many of his policy positions, past and present, are a problem, as are his generous donations to Democrats.”

In fact, his $34,000.00 gift to Democratic campaign committees in the 2006 election cycle helped put Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi in power.”

Sorry to annoy you with the facts. But the truth is DT is a populist playing to the crowd, not a movement conservative. And he is part of the establishment.

The fact that he is delightfully politically incorrect makes him fun and entertaining, not presidential timber IMHO.

In the meantime, in the actual back rooms, Trump is getting advice from Cruz, who is selfless enough to want to see good ideas win even at his own personal expense.
