MATT DRUDGE SLAMS BOEHNER FOR PROMISING TO PASS OBAMATRADE: ‘CLEARLY TREASON’
Breitbart ^ | may 23, 2015 | by KATIE MCHUGH

Posted on 05/23/2015 10:44:48 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Matt Drudge took to Twitter to deliver an ongoing tirade against Republicans’ eagerness to deliver a fast-track trade bill to President Obama’s desk. The bill’s details have not been made public — which hasn’t stopped Republicans from surrendering Congress’s power to make amendments to a president’s future trade deals.

Should a Republican presidential candidate lose the 2016 general election, the Trade Promotion Authority bill could be to blame. Keeping the bill’s details from voters was “clearly treason,” Drudge tweeted...

I don’t recall many congressional Republicans ever saying that they opposed this particular Free Trade Agreement.

It is not the trade agreement that is the problem it is the other stuff that you are not allowed to see.

I don’t trust anything obummer wants; especially if it’s kept secret before passage.

It's about as certain as anything is in this life.

This fast track trade bill will give Obama enough power to completely destroy the U.S.A. : proof in links below

This TTP/TPA Obama trade deal is a trojan horse. It’s disguised as “free trade” What It really allows is for Obama to flood the USA with an unlimited number of 3rd world immigrants ...
http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/immigration/item/20710-obama-gop-trade-scheme-includes-unrestricted-immigration

It’s Obamatrade but also Obama Amnesty for the entire 3rd world.

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2015/04/dick_morris_fast_track_could_lead_to_unlimited_immigration.html

This Fast track gives Obama power to make treaties that override U.S. laws. Soros wrote a book on how to do this. So these “conservative” Senators are voting to give Obama power to rewrite all U.S. laws because treaties override U.S. laws. It’s the destruction of the republic. Proof here :

I will tweet or call congress and tell them to vote no to give Obama fast track power to make treaties

But its the trade agreement that is the subject of this thread. Matt Drudge is angry that 49 Republicans supported Obama on this particular piece of legislation while 33 Democrats opposed Obama.
A left wing Democrat, Elizabeth Warren tried to make this bill open to the public but her bill was blocked by Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Orrin Hatch.

The only purse John Boehner has ever used is that cute little clutch where he puts his lipstick, tissues and extra Midol.

No, it is what is in the trade agreement that we don't know about, that is the subject of this thread.

You obviously haven’t read the title of the thread:
“Matt Drudge Slams Boehner For Promising To Pass Obamatrade, ‘Clearly Treason.’”
Any member of Congress who wants to read the bill in its entirety can do so.
Here’s a link to an article on how members of Congress can read the bill:

Yes Matt! I agree. It is treason for congress to vote yes on any bill which they haven’t fully read and debated.

There are _some_ good representatives, by my open statement to USCongress and all of Washington, DC:

“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.
|
Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?
|
Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the Lords temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves gone! Go! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.
|
In the name of God, go!”
— Oliver Cromwell, Dissolution of the Long Parliament, given to the House of Commons, 20 April 1653

Members of Congress never read the bill, even those that claim they do. This bill will give the president powers never before seen outside of totalitarian regimes. If you deny that I can only assume you are here as a paid stooge to spread the propaganda that this is a free trade bill.

True rue but they are not allowed to show it to the public.

That should set off A BIG RED FLAG.

If it’s so great, then why hide it from the public?

Hey who am I to deny your obvious inside knowledge of what’s actually in the bill and your psychic powers to know who has actually read it.
What I know about what’s it says comes from Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Al) who has read every word of the 117 pages of the bill, wrote a letter to his Senate colleagues about what’s in it and then voted against it.
http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/30848-senator-sessions-takes-a-bold-step-tells-the-truth-about-the-tpp

Your ignorant “paid stooge” comment is hardly worth my time to respond to. I am with the Republicans and Democrats who OPPOSE passage. I think there’s a very good chance that it will die in the House, even with Boehner promising passage.

So why are you ragging on me? I am unalterably opposed to this secret trade bill, that is obviously about much more than trade. I am also disappointed in Cruz for his vote on this. The difference for me is I am disappointed in any one that votes for this and offer no alibi for any of our favorites.

Jeff Sessions would be my first pick if he were running, but he isn't. He might have actually read the bill but more likely he is briefed by his staff on what is actually in the bill. In any case what is in the bills is always more than it seems because of enabling implementation agencies, which actually do have law making power, they just call it something else.

Just look at the water grab currently taking shape, the EPA can effectively control your property if you water your grass in such a way that water is left standing.

Cruz's wife will sooner or later be injected into this subject, as should McConnel's wife.

I just don’t believe that Senator Sessions would lie when he says HE, not his staff, read the bill.
“Senator Reads the TPP and Exposes Its Contents; Other Elected Officials Should Do the Same”
http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/30848-senator-sessions-takes-a-bold-step-tells-the-truth-about-the-tpp

And I guess congressional staff are not allowed to read the bill:
“Extreme secrecy eroding support for Obama’s trade pact
Classified briefings and bill-readings in basement rooms are making members queasy.”
If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration is hoping to pass, you’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you’ve got to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door.
If you’re a member who wants to read the text, you’ve got to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as you read, and forced to hand over any notes you make before leaving.

And who are the people that are handing them the pages? Staffers maybe?

I don't doubt that Sessions read(more likely speed read) the bill in its entirety but these kind of secret bills are designed to conceal their true agenda. People that claimed to have read the ACA bil admitted that 95% of the effect would take place in the enabling implementation, often referring to other legislation for authority. In other words it is really impossible to discover all the hidden goodies.

Even something so plainly written as the 2nd amendment has caused 10 of thousands of pages of legal arguments to be produced in an effort to redefine what shall not be infringed means.

Since this bill is secret it could be changed at anytime and no one would know. Those that claim to have read the bill, but were not allowed to take notes might object but hey everyone knows people are forgetful and could be mistaken in their recollection.

Sessions is a lone voice in the Senate even Cruz avoided his arguments in order to back Obama on this kill america first trade bill.

I wondered the same thing about the secret p,an for “net neutrality.” Why didn’t somebody leak it way before the FCC acted on it?
