On Fox News, Greta just reported that the NY Times is reporting that regarding the plane crash in the Alps, one pilot was unable to return to the cockpit during the flight.
so why wasn’t the brand new husband with the wife since they had just got married on Saturday..were they married by proxy or something..
Outside of cell phones, anyone know if the FA’s or locked out pilot could contact ATC once outside the flight deck?
Why wouldn’t BadPilot have used the aircraft as a WEAPON upon reaching populated areas..?
He could continue answering radio calls, play for time, maybe make up some BS emergency, and get over a really densely populated area:

Usually you cant have your cell phone on while the plane is climbing..
the pilot tells you when you can use it again shortly after the plane levels off..most passengers would have still had their cell phones put away..

On 9/11, the FA’s were able to call the American Airlines control center. Not sure for this airline.
Could have just been a coward mudslime co-pilot/pilot. Rather that use the Atta approach (fly into a building yelling aloha akbar), this guy used the coward’s approach: set autopilot for a constant descent (500’ 1000’ FPM, etc), and then take a poison pill (cyanide?). Let the down ticking of the altimeter do the work.

Yes. The doors were strengthened after 911.
But they're a problem when you have a suicidal Mohammedan pilot.
It could have been a heart attack, but I can't think of a reason why one pilot would lock out the other.
But in this instance the pilot (while the other pilot was out of the cockpit) put the plane into a controlled descent at an angle which was consistent and according to several pilots would be highly unlikely in the event of a medical emergency.
Add to that the fact that this medical emergency just happened to occur when the other pilot was out, and further that the pilot in the cockpit took the plane off of autopilot, and how can one NOT come to the conclusion of terrorism?
Another theory not out of the realm of possibility: Pilot 2 might have been having an affair with Pilot 1’s wife.

The bulkhead next to the door is probably cardboard. The typical modern house has an impregnable steel door surrounded by aluminum siding, styrofoam, and drywall.

What if the pilot was having a medical issue and sent out the other pilot for help, but still locked the door until the other pilot returned. Maybe he died before he could unlock the door to the let the other pilot back in. Small chance of that but still possible?
