The allegations in the case are downright scary. The complaint contends that Montgomery, a Navy veteran and retired police officer who rose to the rank of detective sergeant during his 30-year career, voluntarily sought treatment for insomnia at a hospital on Long Island in May of 2014 after relocating to a new home several hundred miles from his previous residence.
According to the suit, the hospital diagnosed the plaintiff as “mildly depressed,” and his clinical evaluation stated, “Patient has no thoughts of hurting himself. Patient has no thoughts of hurting others. Patient is not having suicidal thoughts. Patient is not having homicidal thoughts…” and “there is no evidence of any psychotic processes, mania, or OCD symptoms. Insight, judgment, and impulse control are good.” The suit further alleges that a psychiatrist told the plaintiff, “I don’t know why you were referred here. You don’t belong here.”

I live here in the People Republic of NY. I go to doctors regularly due to a chronic painful physical condition...
I answer all written and oral medical questions accordingly.

Soon, all guns will be confiscated from anyone seeking major medical treatment for anything, including blood pressure medication.
If the Progs can't get confiscation through the front door, they will try every side door, every window, every cranny, until they get it. One side effect of the Almighty State taking care of from womb (one escaped!) to the tomb is that they OWN you.

(Although I’m lucky with the guy I see occasionally.. When he asks me about guns, it is because he is hoping I have something for sale)
Hate to say this but a guy who was sleep walking in area outside Ft Worth TX got into a tussle with a home owner who he told “I want to get into the house.” He did not wake up tried to climb the fence and then started another fight...before he was shot. Can doctors suggest things to family that might save their lives?
This is why the fascists want control of healthcare. Once they can diagnose you, they can do whatever they want, legally and for “your own good”.

And keep in mind that now everyone of the doctor’s notes and comments goes electronically to the IRS. And probably to other Federal Agencies such as the National Security Administration.
In the not too distant future, anyone wanting to remain truly free will avoid any and all interactions with our health care system. Sad, but true. They’ve pushed most all clinics into computerized systems. Government LOVES IT, because it makes it easier to mine data and gather information on people, so we are easier to ‘control’.
Just try to stay as healthy as you can on your own.

Here’s the deal, I’ll bet. It’s another gummint funded scam that got started when the Medicare folks recognized sleep apnea as something they could pay for treatment for. Hospitals/clinics nationwide started converting a few rooms to “sleep study labs”. Any kind of sleep complaint now gets one referred to the sleep lab for evaluation. It sounds like Montgomery is a senior citizen. As soon as you show up for that first interview the record keeping starts and they will do their dambdest to find out why you snore, etc. BEWARE THE SLEEP TEST. It’s all downhill from there. In the process of helping my own family get medical help in recent times I notice the medicos have gotten quite creative in how they refer to a particular ailment in the paperwork to make sure they get medicare-paid for fixing it.
The funniest one recently was when a relative was having an ectopic thyroid removed. But it went into the paper pile as Goiter. Nothing goiter about it but it got them paid. And this was before Odumbocare kicked in.
A lot of the people in the NE have never traveled outside their own state and think the rest of the country engages in the same sort of repression.
NYC residents in particular are fed a steady diet of horsecrap about how “tough” they are and how the hicks in the rest of the country don’t have what it takes to live in the “Big Apple”.

Sleep Clinics in hospitals find some people have physical problems that effect sleep habits. It is not always mental.
In a month or so I will try to ask what the percentages are.
I still can’t figure out why they don’t confiscate the guns over anyone who registers to vote as a DemocRAT or applies for welfare.
