Both of former President George W. Bush's daughters aren't following the family's Republican Party heritage.
Jenna Bush Hager ... is registered to New York's Independence Party ...
Barbara Pierce Bush, is registered to vote in Texas and is not affiliated with any political party...

The Independence Party doesn’t stand for anything, it’s just a patronage distribution system. Think of them as what happens when a RINO leaves the Republican Party. You end up with INO which is basically the Independence Party.
It’s a piece of poop party that could cost us NY21. Dumbass Matt Doheny got the I-line.

Actually there’s a rich history written as to the decision by President Reagan to bring GHW Bush into his circle. Clearly he did not want to. The decision was strategic and it was thought that VPs seldom go on to be elected president.
In fact, GHWB praised the fact that he alone was the first VP elected President since Martin Van Buren.
So it wasn’t really RR’s fault to bring in GHWB. But his circle should have pushed GWHB out in 88 and brought in someone like Jack Kemp.
It wasn’t the VP choice that was wrong. It was the successor process that failed. People thought wrongly that GHWB would continue the Reagan era.
Only if they are a candidate for something.. no registration.
Maybe for fundraising or some such... but individual voters?
We don’t have any registration by party.
Maybe NBC will give them a high paying job...
Dems and the Democrat Party are the enemy of the United States of America .
Good for them!
Come on over to the Libertarians, ladies.
We’re waiting for you.
They'd be the first ones in that family.
Neither am I
lol
they went to college didn’t they? Brainwashed Liberals—Worry not, as they grow older and wiser they will return to the fold.

...
Reagan didn’t say much about it in his autobiography. Before GHWB there was an attempt by the Ruling Class to make Gerald Ford co-president, but Reagan wouldn’t go for it. I think Reagan didn’t have much choice but to select a GOPe running mate.
Back in 2010 when her book came out I posted the names of the last few chapters of it, recopied here :
Chapter 7 : Immigration reform : Because we all were illegal immigrants once
Chapter 8 : Compassionate conservatism, because conservatives are not compassionate like me
Chapter 9 : Same-sex marriage, because we need more love in the world.
Chapter 10 : No Child Left Behind , Why the teachers union loves your child more than you do.
Chapter 11 Judge Sonia Sotomayor :A wise Latino woman on the court can better decide whats fair for you.
Chapter 12: Its not a child, its a choice. How to move on with your life after getting the good news.

You remember it don't you Ohio W. Fan ??
Someone must have already said it, too bad “W” was Republican, okay, okay, I don’t go that far but I do have disappointments nonetheless.
Neo-Cons, I wonder how Krauthammer views social issues.
My two nieces are both Obamacrats. Heartbreaking but that’s what the school system we didn’t keep an eye on churned out. Why should the Bush’s kids be any different.
“Their mother Laura and Grandmother Barbara are liberals too”
Yes I have heard some strange things come out of Laura Bush since Dubya left office.
None of them are even close to real conservatives.
I wonder who the alternatives were back in the day for Reagan? Jack Kemp? A better choice.
Yep, a lot of people forget that Reagan picked Bush, Sr. to placate the RINOs.
Neither was their dad.
