Limbaugh believes this is more important to comment on than the Bundy Ranch incident.
Nevermind
She could always head over to the "Light Corner" and keep her gob shut.
Not to worry, I became a food saint recently, and the commandments are not chiseled on tablets. It reduced my blood pressure to teenage level, gave me tons of energy feeling great for an old girl with grownup kids. If I want a steak tomorrow, I’ll have one.
“a place that serves maple syrup ....”
Someone’s actually against maple syrup!? That’s an extraditable offence in Canada. (Well, anyhow it should be.)
Great hash browns... have you tried them?
Bubba has “kids”? I thought he had one.
What the hell else is open @ 1:00 a.m ?
We take offense in Pennsylvania and Ohio as well.
Maple is wonderful.
Every once in a while, I just have to do it. I go to a local Perkins and have chicken fried steak smothered in gravy for breakfast. It seems to just give me a sense of calm and relaxation. Comfort food, defined. If Bubba wants to stop for a late night indulgence at Waffle House, I say, “Go for it, Bubba!” (Libs do the same kind of thing—they just don’t admit it.)
The cheese grits...the eggs? The waffles?
Love them with onions.
Perkins is good.
Actually, people should mind their own business. We no longer have health care, so people should live their lives and enjoy what they can while they can.
North Charleston’s Waffle House has been boarded up since the mid 90s when the base closed.
Even when it was open, that was a lousy part of town.
Recipe’s too difficult for me ..I did make a terrific cake with one box of yellow cake mix, two or three eggs and a can of crushed pineapple including all the juice. Did this several months back when another freeper and I got mad at the food stamp whiners and set out to prove we could eat very well for $30 per week. Cake was desert for a week for me. My friends questioned my eating all the chemical junque in the cake mix, but I just smiled enigmatically.
The beauty of the Waffle House business plan is that they only have to stock about 25 items to create their entire menu.
I’ll take mine scattered, splattered, splashed and trashed!
Well it aint the Ritz but it is good cheap food and God Bless Waffle house for feeding the needy after natural disasters.
Did you guys post your recipes for eating under $30/week?
That is the secret! Low overhead high volume!
